The ones with the ? Didn't you see the first pokemon season and the first digimon? Well, one I don't know if it will become canon because the anime isn't over yet, and the other it didn't become canon but there's a chance of becoming canon now in a new season if they retcon another season... gah it's kinda hard to explain XD

I watched the first few pokemon seasons when I was a kid, but I'm not caught up with it lol I've never watched Digimon so I wouldn't know XD

It greatly annoys me whenever I see Hinata / NaruHina fans brush off her failure in 662 as 'no big deal' . It is a big deal because SHE GAVE UP. The common excuse I see is 'She was out of chakra so she was helpless '. For someone who is supposed to really really love Naruto, its pathetic that she was ready to give up on his life at the very first hurdle. Rather than choosing to fight against all odds to save Naruto, she resorted to pray and hope for the best instead. 

 

And it is here that you can see a clear difference between NaruSaku and NaruHina.

 

'' I'm gonna save Sakura-chan, no matter what ! ''-- These were Naruto's resolute words, all the way back in part 1, when Gaara had captured Sakura. I quote Sasuke- '' Naruto fought tooth and nail to save you,Sakura. He displayed a kind of strength he'd never shown before''. Who can forget the sight of Naruto crawling on his chin to ensure Sakura's safety ? 

 

Its the same with Sakura. Hinata wasn't the only person to run out of chakra, Sakura had run out her chakra too. But unlike Hinata, she did not decide to let Naruto's fate be decided by God's hands. '' As long as I'm around, there's no way I'm going to let you die ''. She did everything in her power to keep Naruto alive.

 

Hinata though..? Gave up and just hoped for the best. She was okay with the possibility that Naruto could die. If the worst had indeed happened and Naruto had died, Hinata would probably cry a lot, chant 'Naruto-kun' a million times and then commit suicide to end her miserable life.

Hinata's love for Naruto wasn't even comparable to the one Naruto held for Sakura-chan. 

Kishimoto showed us tons of time how much he loved her and how deep and genuine it was.It wasn't just a silly crush (even if it started like that...I mean, this is love right, in the beginning it's just a sparkle then it becomes a flame) 

I always thought, in part one though, that Hinata's love was just some kind of admiration, she wanted to become like him, he was her goal (as a ninja), but things became worse in part two, when the only moments she appeared on,she was only blushing and thinking just ABOUT 'Naruto-kun', and then, she became weaker and weaker, while Sakura became more inspired by her teammate efforts to become stronger, and she grew stronger and stronger. 

Sakura knew Naruto better, she was besides him when he needed, she saw how much he suffered;she supported him...and she understood him. 

I don't like it when people say "Hinata sacrificed herself for Naruto and Sakura never did the same" , they're wrong. 

Okay, Hinata (stupidly) sacrificed herself during the pain attack, but Sakura did the same in the cpr scene ...God, even in the last, she is the one who gives all her chakra to save him, when Hinata just...left him. 

And when Naruto is hurt, Sakura seems to always be the more affected one (just like in my sig) she wants to help him, to save him, she seems to be way more desperate but she knows that sometimes she can't do anything, because she feels weak.

Man. Fairy Tail, One Piece, maybe a re-read of Berserk. Now Tokyo Ghoul and AoT. You guys are recommending too many things.

For each of these, my default is to stick with the manga. Are there any where I should watch the anime instead?

Faiy Tail just read the manga the anime is not worth mainly the new one, I only recommend wathcing the anime to see some main fights animated.

 

I also recommend vividly to watch HxH animated, even though it stopped because the manga hasn't ended yet, it still adapted a good portion of it and it's worth every minute because the animation is glorious like Yhwach facil hair.

 

Also Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood in case you didn't watch it yet (yes there are people who never saw FMAB I have friend who didn't not so long ago and I don't know if he has already seen it)

For Tokyo Ghoul, I'd probably go with the manga. SP animated Tokyo Ghoul and messed up the story line badly, so the writer (Ishida) told them to kitten off and took over the writing of season two. Apparently the anime itself isnt bad, it's actually really good, but Ishida was pissed that they kittened up the actual story. A lot of people went from the anime to the manga and were like "wtf?" due to the story being different, but TG got really popular because the anime drew a lot of interest.

 

For One Piece and Fairy Tail and AoT, either or is fine. I know that AoT has some differences between the anime and the manga, so you might want to read the manga for that, but I'm not so sure it matters with the other two. It' s probably a lot easier to read OP than to watch the anime just because of the length. 

 

 

Is FMAB worth watching if I saw the original FMA?

Yeah. FMA didn't stick to the manga, FMAB did and did it really well.
