Those are not spoilers. Those are from the 30 min preview they saw. So, they actually can't say anything, since they signed a contract.

Yeah, leaning towards it being a genjutsu from Toneri. Naruto isn't even wearing the scarf, and not to mention I don't recall Naruto being able to fly in his base form.

The NH ending won't be shocking at all. Everyone expects them to be canon at this point.

It's obviously not the end of the movie, just the preview. Even if the movie ends up being full of NH, that won't be the end. The end will be about Naruto marrying and his kids.

I don't consider an end where Naruto is getting married to Hinata and having kids, that we've seen in chapter 700, all that shocking.

I really hope that NS is the canon ship in the movie, Naruto and Sakura are so close, it took years for them to get that close, and ...they are trying to convince us that an hour and what...fifteen minutes is enough time to rewrite the whole manga? ....that's ...dumb,

I still have some faith, but I'm not going to be crushed if NS doesn't happen, just disapointed, it will remain my OTP long after this series has been mostly forgotten. .

I made a mistake today, I went to the trumbler of the last Naruto the movie...man...I guess I just can't seem to feel it, I mean, I wish the other shippers well and all, but it doesn't make sense! No matter how many posts claiming Hinata loved Naruto first, or worse...have you guys seen the claims that the moonlight kiss parallel's minato and Kushina? I thought they all laughed at the parallels before?

I mean, I give them some slack, we all have hypocrite moments, but this just....annoyed me for some reason. Mainly because in RTN they all denied the parallels....and now that it's Hinata next to Naruto ....suddenly parallels are legit?

??? You are basing that "shocking" ending in Junko's words when she said she was shocked about the ending of Naruto. It could be easily because she was doing the movie since 2 years ago, when we didn't know Naruto was going to end up with Hinata, so it was obviously shocking for her.

Okay, but the way the marketing campaign has been going they've tried to make NH as obvious as possible. There is no way it's going to be shocking for anyone watching the movie, but if that's what she meant by a "shocking end" then I guess that's what we're stuck with.

The parallels only exist if it's convenient for their fandom, otherwise they don't. Also, if NH is canon in this movie I wouldn't be surprised if they do try to parallel Minato and Kushina to Naruto and Hinata. It won't be believable at all, but they're going to try if they want NH to happen.

However, didn't she directly refer to The Last Naruto the Movie and that was a promotional video for The Last Naruto the Movie? I'm pretty sure that she was talking about the movie itself and if she was, that means that the film was building up one way and then ended in a manner she didn't expect.

 

It's like talking about a standalone movie, take The Sixth Sense, wouldn't you say that had a shocking ending? Because it was building one way through the movie and had an unexpected ending. Same with Hide and Seek. She was talking in context of the film, as a standalone film. If you're saying you were shocked by the movie's ending, then you're talking in the context of the movie itself.

 

That's just my opinion anyway.

I still feel like something is up with all this aggressive NH campaigning and spoilers. If they wanted to have no doubts of NH being canon then it would have been as simple as putting a family picture on Naruto's desk in chapter 700, and be done with it. Though if this movie does confirm NH then I'm convinced Kishi has gone insane and there's no way I'm going to read part 3.
