JFC, Even when she finally gets her man Hinata still looks miserable as hell all throughout this movie. How can anymore LIKE such a miserable depressing, one dimensional character?

Ok, guilty as charged. I'm super Italian (just 15 cm over the average height, but still italian), cooking and wine mania and football addiction as well.

And, as many of my fellow countrymen are, I'm pretty much as 'blunt' as they come, embarrassment is relative after all. We are mostly pretty vocal, touchy-feely and boisterous XD.

I really hope that's true. It would really kill me if everyone ends up praising it.

I think there's some truth to what Aizen-sama said. One of my mutuals on Tumblr quite likes NH, but he admitted that he hasn't read Naruto in a loooooooong time and Hinata is right up his alley as far as waifus go. He's a pretty respectful guy, but yeah not everyone is like us and picks everything apart for analysis. (You don't have to do that to see this movie is a retcon, but it's more in your face from our perspective.)

 

If you're a casual fan who only remembers watching the first bit of Part 1 (where there was hella NH/SS filler), this movie would appeal to you. The more I see about this movie after the forced nostalgia of Naruto and Sasuke's fight at the VotE, the more I think this whole end was meant to appeal to a large mass of casual fans who can now pay their own money for this nostalgia. (These fans are analogous to genwunners of the Pokemon fandom imo.)

No offense, but there were no "real characters" in Naruto ever. Even Uzumaki Naruto is just a very, very cheap copycat of the legendary Kinnikuman Suguru:

 

 

About Hinata, she is the same as Sakura. Both of them are just an archtype (Tsundere-Shy Girls), both of them risks their life for others, both of them get power ups from nowhere and the only difference between Hinata and Sakura that Hinata was willing to give up her love for Naruto to save Hanabi and the world from Toneri's hatred (until of course Naruto not decided to not giving up her but that's nobody care). And trust me, I still prefer Sakura more than Hinata, but only (and saying again) only because she was a Bulma + Mari copycat.

I'm not sure why Western Beta males enjoy sad faced, perpetually mopey women....I mean jesus, Looking at all those screen caps from the trailer, I could hardly count ONE smile from Hinata. And she doesn't do much better in the Manga either. We see her smile at Naruto and Sakura though...

If you want to get down to it there are no "Real characters" anywhere since they've all been done before

In any case, Hinata is boring as kitten and perpetually acts miserable when she really has no reason whatsoever to do so at this point. She's got no meat, the only thing she is good for is superimposing what one WANTS onto her. You can't do that with Sakura, or Naruto- or rather you can't without being OOC ( like these last chapters +Movie)  They have their own personalities and guiding behaviors.

Hinata's only guide and personality is "Naruto-kun" - Sad blank face-

So much wrong. Because if Kunnikuma had it, Naruto just got kittenend by 2 chapters, that twisted story, there is no story behind OOC of 699/700 besides money.

Naruto is a immature jealous prat who just want to win against his self proclaimed rival, Sakura genuinely had reason to dislike Naruto, so her Tsun moments were genuine Tsun moments, Sasuke told everyone he loves to die, called them useless, and weak...We really were reading the manga wrong, Sasuke was the real hero, Naruto was only bothered about gaining fame...he's too selfish to be the hero.

Sasuke is more like a Yandere/Tsundere hybrid. 

He kills the ones he loves

But Sakura is pretty much a hallmark of Tsundere-ism. Keiko Yukimura and Sakura both have pervy/Immature love interests who they both have to slap down at times.

I was on a tumblr and out of damn nowhere I just got a kittenon of NH on my dash. It's been spotless of that atrocity for months. Needless to say I screamed in horror, bleached out my eyes, and unfollowed in a heartbeat.

 

... I'm sorry. I'm just severely allergic to NH and their "development" in The Last. Can't take that kitten on my dash, it gives me nightmares.

 

You should blacklist nh.
