Hey, I was kidding, you know that, right??? ^^

 

I feel like an idiot, but am I missing something? Has the idea of fate been emphasized more than the character that was placed in Sakura's box? Has it really been tied to the film as a whole?

I know right? And from what I've seen, they've given us good NS moments in the ending songs as well. Let's not forget Naruto x UT too. I love that OVA a little too much.

 

Meh, their marketing is unbearable. I'm pretty sure Hinata is not the ONLY important character in Naruto. All I see is Hinata everywhere. They're practically shoving her in our faces anytime they want.

 

I was actually surprised when I watched episode 235, with Naruto saying that he love a girl (with Sakura in the background) and a parallel to Jiraya with Tsunade that was saying the same thing as Naruto ( that was so damn sweet, I actually cried, a filler no less).

 

I don't think that they hate NaruSaku because I don't think they would have done these kinds of fillers and others stuff relating Naruto and Sakura but they are really too much Hinata fanboys that's for sure

The chances of this movie being unsuccessful are unfortuantely zero (imho). It is the last movie that all fans have to see to understand the ending, Kishimoto himself asked to see it in order to have a complete experience of Naruto, it is considered a part of canon, it will have its own chapter, even those who didn't like the ending would give it a try in case it may serve something new and fulfilling,  it was heavily marketed and it has awesome animations.  AND SS and NH are a big crowd indeed. So even if this movie is a very simple kidnapping story with lots of cliches it will still be successful. Even if Hinata's character goes on rampage there as if she is more important than even Naruto.

We can only hope that it won't become bigger than RtN (I have some hope, though it is slim). It is easy to write a story better than RtN (from literary point of view). I doubt that their handling of Sakura will be enough to alienate a big part of the fandom. Unfortunately.

That's what's confusing. They seem to ship NS in the anime, but when it comes to promoting Naruto movies, they shift towards NH, more of Hinata actually. So, yeah, I'm thinking it's all for marketing. Well, I guess money is their first priority.

 

Yeah, I don't think they dislike NS as well. Oh, well. We can't do anything since they're the one who's in charge of promoting the movie. We'd have to wait.

Exactly! I've been thinking the same thing! By making Naruto make this statement about loving Sakura and being the happiest if she chooses him and THEN paralleling it all to Jiraya (who NEVER gave up even though Tsunade actually had a happy relationship with Dan) they seemed to push themselves into a corner. After all there is a big part of the fandom that doesn't read manga - they base their perceptions on anime alone. They will be even more surprised than us by the sudden NH ending. Because they will have an even bigger confirmation in their pocket that Naruto will never be happy without Sakura, that he never intended to ever give up. What were they thinking!!

Sorry for not sharing anything more guys, but after this thread was passed as "true info" from a "trustworthy" source on Tumblr, I prefer to keep it up for me! That's why I come and always ask if there's something I should be looking over or I go OMG when something really great is observed by you guys but I don't say anything more.

I'm telling you this, if you're right with your theory and that NaruSaku is the endgame, I'm gonna do the costume that I wanted to do ( and then quit after reading the ending) for you and for the fans that still believe even when there was almost no hope.

 

BTW, the costume that I wanted to do was the samourai version of Sakura
