I think my view of this is that if Sakura showing that much devotion to Sasuke means that she was truly in love, then what was Karin's love where she was willing to forgive him over worse stuff?

Why is SS good, despite everything that happened, to some while SK is seen as bad when they went through the same thing?

I think what the real difference was was that Sasuke was actually showing signs of care for Karin that he never showed Sakura at all and that's why we "accept" that one a little more.

:chuckle: That's a nice thought, Lady Lys! :3

*bows* Well this horrendous ending may very well be the cause of an indigestion, and the result of one.  :hehehe:  :hehehe:  :hehehe:

For curiosity, Think you live in Italy, but how do you know that Borrito is tex-mex food?

Yeps, I do live in Italy, born and raised here.

Well american culture has pretty much spread throughout the globe...I'm pretty sure we have some tex-mex restaurants here in Rome, plus there are movies, and telefilms.... the wonders of globalization  :argh:

But they were all of them deceived, for another canon was made. In the land of Japan, in the fires of Studio Pierrot, the dark Lord Kishimoto forged in secret a master canon, to control all others, and into this canon, he poured his cruelty, his malice, and his will to dominate all life. One canon to rule them all.

Here's the mindset of a NH fan on Youtube. Holy crap I want to punch a wall.

"It doesnt make sense. IT'S A CHILDHOOD CRUSH.
PEOPLE GET OVER THEM.
She should be KILLED for faking a confession."

So people can downplay Naruto's feelings for Sakura and call it a childhood crush.. but Sakura's childhood crush on Sasuke is real love? Hinata's childhood crush on Naruto is real love just because she confessed? She doesn't know a damn thing about her precious Naruto-kun.

AND OH MY GOD AT PEOPLE SAYING SAKURA SHOULD BE KILLED. These people have the reading comprehension of a 5 year old. If Sakura should be killed, then their precious Hinata needs a damn restraint order for being an obsessive stalker whose vocabulary is only filled with different variations of Naruto-kuns.

The way Kishimoto wrote it all, even with his mistakes... there is not one love that was only a mere crush. Nor Sakura's, nor Naruto's, nor Hinata's. Lee's love for Sakura neither. Every single one of them all REALLY LOVED someone, and they gave their all for this someone. EVERYONE.

BUT Naruto and Sakura had the best chemistry. Period.

There is no need to talk about crushes.

Hinata risked her life for Naruto.

Sakura risked her life for Sasuke.

Naruto risked his life for Sakura.

Lee risked his life for Sakura.

All those loves were real loves.

Still, Naruto and Sakura should have been together in the end, because the author seemed to develop their bond and he also was making changes in Sakura's feelings. He made her grow more and more dependent of Naruto, and more and more fond of him. Those faces she made around him, those faces she made thinking about something he said to her... it can't be fooled. Just as Kishi made Yamato said "just by looking at her" we could knew. Period.

Also it was the best to be for the protagonist.

But the protagonist has been relegated to the sidelines in order to have more couples and more children for the "new era" kitten. They just wanted to make money out of this story. They wanted to milk the cow more.

I was very far away from Naruto fandom when chapters with the fake confession came out. I thought they was very pro-NS, I actually admired Sakura's resolve to keep Naruto out of trouble and was not surprised to see that she had lingering feelings between Naruto and Sasuke still inclining towards the latter. I knew it was way too early to show the full resolution of Team 7 love arrow and I was happy to see such a big progress. That chapter also confirmed to me how much Naruto loved Sakura.

I joined Naruto's active fandom about three month ago and I was shocked by the ammount of hate Sakura's confession got. I was shocked by that interview with Kishi where (polite) japanese interviewer asked him whether Sakura - can you believe it - MANIPULATED Naruto. I was dead shocked.
As a reader I saw what Kishi tried to portray - a heroine, stubborn and honest in her own way. But after I learned about fandom's general reaction I thought that he did make a writing mistake if so many people interpreted the scene wrong. I felt that that mistake might have influenced Kishi's own perspective of what he does. Maybe he thought that he should give up on evolving Sakura's romance. Maybe he thought that there is nothing he can change after making her look so untruthful to Naruto, after making her hurt him again, even though those were not his intentions. I was afraid that he might have been influenced by his own mistake.

And now we hear from his assistant that Kishi said there was no heroine for the main character since LoI arc.... I mean, this is just another hypothesis of why Kishi gave up on NS.

I think a lot of us will move on by that time. We might still feel very hurt remebering what has happened, but most of us will be much less emerged in Naruto's fandom and sources that publish news from Japan to even know. At least I feel I won't be around to hear the news though I would love to. This forum is getting slower and slower and it might stop updating at all after the movie comes out. There will be a very little number of people searching for news and translating them unlike now.

Maybe but that would be really sad and bittersweet.

I think I don't want it anymore since Kishi ruined it all.

He should have made it already, instead of this crappy ending.

He shouldn't have put skyscrappers, he shouldn't have put Naruto's son in the same situation as Naruto in the past.

It's not good, it's repetitive and it's lacking sense.

Naruto were supposed to change everything, not to fill in the mould and do the same as his predecessors.

Also, all those children are awkwards.

We can guess really quick that he just put some ninjas together to make children.

It's all just............ bad.

This is an interesting hypothesis,

I thought what she said about how Naruto was always the one that was closer to her while Sasuke kept going into the darkness held a lot merit and she was truly speaking from the heart. The part where she said she was over Sasuke was obviously false but to see this expression of selflessness be twisted into manipulation by a lot of the fandom is a testament to the author's writing style.

If Kishi truly didn't know how to write a romance he should have never even considered a possible love triangle from the beginning. To introduce a concept in the beginning of the series and make it a pivotal point in how the main characters develop (the PoaL) is, in my opinion, a very foolish maneuver. This is not even taking Hinata's feelings and storyline into account.

The sole situation that was going on at that time is enough to prove that she wasn't trying to manipulate him.
She was doing it for Naruto's sake.

"We live in a world that is so quick to convince us to ignore our feelings. Feeling stressed? Get a massage. Feeling angry? Go to the bar with your friends and blow off steam. Feeling lonely? Meet someone in cyberspace and have a conversation on the computer. Depressed? Take a pill. Anxiety? Take 2 pills. Feeling happy? Well, by George, don’t talk about that because no one likes a bragger. Same with being sad, no one likes a Debbie Downer.
