[NS4Life]

Why would a person want to prioritize looks, of all things, when supporting a relationship? 
 
Such a sad world we live in these days. This Naruto ending just goes to show how society continuously goes downhill as years go by.

I could understand SS in part one, but part 2 is game over.

I think the worse part of it was sakura was never in a relationship and was never allowed to move on.

If they want their relationships to last, they need more than looks.

lol To be honest, I've heard Narusaku shippers talk more about Hinata's boobs than anyone else...Actually, the only place I've seen it mentioned at all is 4chan. Why focus so much on her breasts? Women come in all shapes and sizes, it's kind of sexist to say a character is crap because of the size of her breasts.
 
And really, if you truly don't condone abuse towards women, could you tone down the body shaming? It's not any better...

Nuh uh--NH fans were the ONLY ones who brought up Hinata's breasts as a reason why Naruto would choose Sakura over her. I can bring up multiple fanarts of it. THAT is sexist and body-shaming of women.
I'm actually defending Hinata because I hate how such a shy modest frumpy character is sexualized into something she's not.
I have no problem with big breasted characters; I love Orihime from Bleach and enjoyed the latest sex joke with her and Ichigo lol. But that's because Kubo MEANT for her to be sexy. Kishimoto didn't for Hinata.
Sorry for the rant..I just hate to be accused of being sexist and body shaming when I am such a big opponent of that.

I used to be an NH fan back in like... 2007 - 2010ish? I was a solid fan in that fandom for a good 4 or 5 years so I know what they say and how they work.  Although I was never anti NS so I joined here in 2007.

 

They mock NS all the time, saying we were delusional for thinking that Sakura could move on from a guy who treats her like trash. They always said that Naruto would come to love Hinata eventually and that his feelings for Sakura were never "developed" or "serious".  I left that fandom because NS just made so much more sense.  

 

Kinda hurts thinking back I could have celebrated the ending if I still liked NH not gonna lie :/ but I dont regret shipping NS because this pairing even if its not canon, is so much more logical and so much better.

FIrst of all, I'm not a new member, I was here since long time ago because of my love for NS. 

Then, I'm not a SS fan as I'm a NS fan, I just happened to like SS as crack shipping without thinking it could ever happen. So now that it did happen it sill makes me happy even if NS is dead romantically because of it. 

And finally, that place is open to every kind of shipper SS and NH included. So respect everyone's choice and don't come with "Why are you here if you're SS fan?" okay?

 

Seriously I'm tired of that "racism" towards those who accept the end pairing without complaining. It's not like I was rubbing in everyone's face "Look how beautiful NH and SS are! Accept it and throw away your crap pairing you loser!" Tired of being accused of things like I was an enemy for liking SS. I'm still part of this fandom, still and always will be a fan of NS because that's what made me discover that manga. 

 

And I won't go on the debate about abusive relationship, killing attempts etc.... because it's pointless and it's not the place to do so.

That's what I hate the most about this pairing, their personnalities don't match at all. Whenever I think about thei relationship, I feel awkward for both of them.

SS annoys a lot of people because of the violence connected with it. I know you see it as a harmless crack pairing, and that's fine. The reason so many people get so upset by it though is that whether Kishimoto planned it to look that way or not, is because SS does look like it approves of a violent and abbusive relationships towards women. Now you don't want to talk about that, that's fine, but I think you should keep it in mind when you see other posters who are very upset by it. A lot of people (myself included) basically see that pairing as Sakura choosing her abuser she was obessed with over a friend, and many of us can't stand that message.

I'm sorry if you felt like I was attaking you personally or something.  That wasn't my intention. I was just trying to explain why I think people have a hair trigger temper about SS. I wasn't trying to make you leave.

咲耶姫 always translates for us and is an old member. 

 

Although no matter what NH/SS fans say... we have 15 years of development and Naruto loved Sakura for 699 chapters of the manga.

Well as a statement of fact sure, but the canon status of something doesn't mean much to me. I care about the story, how it's presented, and how it's worked on. For me if it doesn't make sense in the way it was set up in the manga that what has happened is Kishimoto has failed as a story teller, and that's exactly what has happened. I'm not going to pretend he is a great writer, or that his choices were perfect because they aren't. I also am not going to genuflect in his direction simply because he is the creator of the story as some people on places like tumblr are arguing.

 

Beyond that though, again I wasn't trying to scare anyone away. My point was first with a word she used, and then I was trying to explain why I think people really hate SS. Like I've said as a crack/ooc pairing it's fine, but from what's been written in the story it's a very dark final pairing imo. I wasn't trying to run her off though, that was the last thing I was trying to do. I mean I'm just a rook thankful I was allowed to join, I don't want to be the guy who makes people leave.

I agree. I think the ending was rushed and everything.  NS made a lot more sense and was logical.  I guess I was just trying to stick up for 咲耶姫 cause this is an old member who always translates for us.

No matter I know you or anyone else wouldn't try to make fellow members leave... we all need to stick together during this time.  I understand why people dislike SS and that's reasonable.  Not everyone dislikes SS on this website though... XD

i don't understand you. Kaguya-hime will be always a NS fan. It's that she just accepted NH and SS won. And I don't know why you are complaining her... It isn't her fault if Kishimoto decided to make those pairings canon.I know that sometimes reading a NS fan says that he likes SS somehow could hurt you, but you must think that we are NS fans first of all.

Imagine if Naruto chooses Hinata over pity, and she tries to talking to him. Ultimately he distances himself from his family to do whatever the hell he feels like is right to him, and maybe having Bolt and Himawari was Naruto's way of "I'll let her have kids with me, but I won't care about them that much." 

 

If Naruto is that depressed in life even though he's become Hokage, then it's saying something.  I don't wanna get anyones hope up, but imagine if he still loves Sakura even though he married Hinata. That would just be something.
