My wife sent me this link and just wanted to share this for anyone who has children or even plans to have them in the future.  Not everyone is lucky to be able to have children and when you do cherish the time you have with them.

I myself have 4 boys and although there are days I want to strangle them I am thankful for them in my life.

Could you attempt to explain what having a child is like to someone who has none? Whenever I ask this question I always get somewhat similar responses that are all variations on the phrase "you have to experience it to understand".

Well its true you have to experience it to understand and its hard to describe.  I am sure it may be different for everyone but seeing your child first born is amazing b/c look at what you help create and will help shape.  Watching them discover things even the little things is awesome.  Best I can say is its made of many moments some very small to others where they are great accomplishments.  Don't get me wrong it can be worriesome b/c as a parent you will worry if you are doing the right thing or could I have done better.  The only thing is just try your best b/c there is no manual on how to do it.  Everyone is different. Basically you are watching and shaping a little person as they grow up before your eyes and all the discoveries and trials as they go through them.

That's the best I can describe it I guess.

I saw this on Facebook and my heart broke. I can't even begin to imagine how he feels. To lose your child and wife is just horrible, that poor man. I had a two c-sections myself, and each time I went under I knew that it wasn't a walk in the park. I would also listen to the Beatles a lot and my first son always moved around a lot, especially when I listened to Hey Jude, which almost became his name. I live in a town far from any family. It's just me my husband and our two boys, so I never get a break, ever. I have no baby sister so I'm in mommy mode 24/7 365 days a year. They both get on my nerves, even more so then your average parent since I never get a break, but they are my world. They make me whole and I thank the gods for them every single day. May mother and son rest in peace as they watch and wait until they are reunited again.

Tricksie and Racerxdsr really describes it well, but it is something that you need to experience to really understand. It sounds so cliche but it's true. When you first meet your child it's amazing to see that you made that tiny little person who's crying their eyes out. Their perfect little noses tiny little hands and chubby cheeks happened because of you and your partner, that feeling is out of this world. Then you watch them grow, you teach them, and the next thing you know they're walking, talking, and wanting to play video games with you. It's truly an experience, one that I'm blessed to have.
