It was never about last laughs for true shippers.
what? It was all about winning?
The only reason why I wanted NS to become canon was because I really liked their relationship and because it was so logical too. I'm not a true shipper because even though SS and NH won, I noticed they didn't even win in a logical way in which even non shippers call bull on their ship?

I've decided to rewrite the ending from the moment Sakura is healing both of them in 699. Even better, I'm going to add development to some of the pairings and changing some altogether. Hell, I'll even add one or two if I feel like it (why was Shino the only one to end up alone?).
It's gonna be long, I'd say a few chapters length in terms of Manga, but it'll be the best ending I can think of. It'll take me at least a few days. I'll begin tomorrow, but I already have the outline in my mind. I will try to make it be an actual resolution to the story, tying up as much loose ends as I can. If I'm happy with it, I may post it somewhere and link it.
PLEASE DO IT. POST IT WILL HELP the healing process of most here. I want this story to have an end that at least i character

Can you guys stop mentioning or posting pictures of these characters that shall not be named.
I refuse to acknowledge anything that happened in this so called ending. And I want to forget about it as quickly as possible.

And yet I found 698 perfect... I called Kishi a genius. Mark my words... god...
some weeks ago we were still making prediction for the end, we were still enjoying the story.
What a huge destruction.
I can't even appreciate Naruto's adult face ! But he's indeed hot ! And Sasuke too. But I just can't appreciate it.
Naruto is OOC IMO. It's also so weird that he has a false arm ! Why didn't Kishi gave it to regenerate to Sakura ? I'm sure she could have done something.
It's like Kishi himself forgot about his own hero.
I guess some things might have a resolution in the movie, and he rushed everything to make it fit in 700 chapters and not one more.
Sakura and Naruto are terribly OOC.Sasuke and Hinata are in character.
Ino doesn't even have the good hair color.
I guess fans that were saying that Kishi didn't care for his manga anymore was right... I just don't know anymore guys. I will never accept this kitten.
I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. Hinata was the only one in character. Sasuke was more OOC than anyone else with his sudden romantic feelings for Sakura.

Yes, I feel sick just looking at the children. I refuse to believe they exist. If that makes me in denial, fine. If anyone HAS to post them, put them under a spoiler tag please.

I agree with you. That is why in my head, they're was no doubt it was the endgame. That's why I felt cheat,screw and rape by this ending and why I am pissed off. Sadly, NH and SS just cried victory and call us stupid because we know how to read. They don't consider this asspull and use the movie as an excuse (though developing a love story about 2 character who didn't have any interaction is still asspull, but they never acknowledge that and we're the idiots on the net)

They easily could have made the father-son parallel using a different prank. Bolt could have set up a bucket of water or something over the front door for when Naruto came home to hearken back to the eraser prank on Kakashi at the academy.

I agree. I am just saying that I figure they are trying to make a parallel. I still think they shouldn't have needed to do it in that regard. A simple I will be a greater Hokage than even my dad remark would be much better. instead we get Bolt defacing the Hokage mountain for what appears to be a repeat performance. Really disappointing.
Especially when you know why Naruto back then did this prank and how his adult self berate the child about his image

Nah, rewrite it from 693. What should have happened was Sakura should have said that her love for Sasuke was never really love to begin with, that Sasuke had never supported her. But even though they aren't romantic he should still respect her bc she is a person worthy of true love and respect. Than you can have Naruto and Sasuke fight and finally NS

That's just it. That why I am calling this Hinata Wish Fulfillment 100%. This is how Hinata would want the future to turn out. For everyone else? NO.
That's why I'm holding out hope for the Infinite Tsukuyomi theory. Hinata is still trapped in it.
