I do like and hope for the alternative endings idea. They did that with Clannad. Not my preferred couples, but those OVAs were still awesome.

The anime could do that, but I  don not think anymore since SP is going to do  more Hinata's filler, now the changes are low. If the alternative ending of Naruto I would like something similar like Kyuo Arc.

Well, we all have opinions   I'm not one to argue about them too much. I just give mine.

Well, if they gave us the recent NaruSaku filler, and this movie has been in the works for two years, it's not outside the realm of possibility. Especially if they get enough negative feedback.

I just sent a letter to Kishimoto about the crap he did and asking him why did he do it.

I know Kishimoto regrets making because it goes his original ideas he obviously had a different ending in mind. Who knows at Jump Festa 2015 he announces a new ending "his" ending. Or better a new series focusing more on Naruto and Sakura.

I don't want to hate on Kishi. I simply don't know how it went down, or why, and there's no way to prove he wanted this ending. If I did somehow get to talk to him, I would maybe politely ask how he got to the ending he did and maybe what he thought of NS.

And I'd be sure to tell him how much I've loved and enjoyed the series as whole. Even if the ending sucked, there was a lot of memorable parts and characters, and I'll always love that part of the series.

I can't blame Kishi because it's obvious he wanted NS to be canon but I blame them rice cake eating editors he got though. KISHI needs to make a story about Naruto and Sakura/Chan with no editors to show us his true story.

I would be incredibly happy to say the least. But it's over guys. Not saying that to belittle people, but this is what we got. You don't have to accept it. Hell, I know I don't. And many others, even non NS shippers, don't accept this. Honestly, there's plenty more reasons to hate the epilogue besides who ends up with who. Don't get me wrong, that's a large part of it, but it goes way deeper than that. If you haven't seen ShinoSays tumblr post. He explains the problems with the epilogue way better than I can.

 

So honestly guys, based on the epilogue itself, I'm glad NaruSaku didn't become canon. I would hate for it to be canon in the way 700 was written. Everyone lost. Shippers for all pairings and non shippers alike.

 

Plus, there's always fan fiction, which I'm ecstatic about. Because if we're going by Kishi's writing standards, most of the new fan fiction for NS is going to be kittening awesome. And I think LadyGt is thinking about rewriting the epilogue.

 

Keep your chins up. Mourn if you like. And again, like I said, if it makes you feel any better... EVERYONE LOST.

Honestly we are…I've shared things here that I wouldn't with my closest friends, not cause I'm embraced, its cause they wouldn't understand..not that they should, but you guys do. We all share a passion and passion for anything, especially something as good natured as this, is rare to come by.

I was struggling with the words but this above is what I wanted to say.  Naruto the anime in particular - with the great voice actors - was an inspiration.  I really did take inspiration from Naruto and this disrespect by the mangaka for his own character(s) really does leave a bad taste.

It was an inspiration and the worst part is that it just isn't anymore. All that gone to waste and I'm not an anime/manga connoisseur but I don't think there is another anime that I could look to, at least not yet, at least nothing something i invested in since i was a kid…it sucks

 

theres any possibility of NH and SS not being together?

i mean, whats the possibility of naruto and hinata did not ended up together?? kishi likes to be a troll, can NS happened but he will only show it on the movie?

im talking about that because, as you guys saw sakura daughter dont look like sakura... not even with sasuke. she looks like karin, a lot.

we only saw naruto with his son, but we did not saw him with hinata or something, so...

Sasuke's daughter says Shaynarooo or w.e that stupid kitten Sakura says..

You know whats even worse…we have all this hope, because we are good ppl, but nothing will happen our voices won't be heard, we won't get another ending, we'll just have to carry this burden forever

 

Meanwhile kishi will live it up, Naruto will go down has one of the best manga (even though its atrocious imo) and no one will ever bat an eye, sucks I'm sorry for being pessismetic….

 

I wish Oliver Queen would break into Kishi's house and yell at him "YOU FAILED THE WORLD"….and shoot him with an arrow….than buy the rights to Naruto and re-do all of it.

I'm being pretty negative in comparison to these other fans I'm talking to right now, but I seem pretty positive compared to the reaction here.

 

I do have to wonder what my reaction would be if I wasn't an NS shipper. I think I'd still be disappointed with the problems I've already mentioned, but I may not have reacted as strongly if part of it wasn't the shipping letdown talking. If asked, I wouldn't deny that that was part of it...but I also wouldn't back down that I feel that the concerns I have that aren't related to shipping are legit...or at least I feel they are. I mean...all those loose ends and wasted character development....=/

I've been thinking of the conclusion both as a NaruSaku fan AND as a fan of Naruto itself. And I didn't even like it as a fan since we had all those loose ends in addition to the weird-ass pairings, so honestly, I feel it was too much for me, especially with wasted character development, as you said.
