It's not Sakura's fault... it's Kishimoto's fault for writing this. It was in Sasuke's character to commit wrong acts, wasn't he like this from the start? Sakura changed in part 1. Don't blame Naruto for this when he didn't even kittening confess to her. Only then if she turned him down after that, I would have accepted NS as not canon, but this mess? Oh hell no. Sasuke develops romantic feelings for Sakura out of the blue after seeing her as a team/family and Hinata is the biggest silver medal/rebound I've ever seen in my life. It's Kishi's fault, because Sakura changed so much from her early part 1 self over the course of this manga, and then boom, it's all gone. 698 chapters of character development down the freaking drain. This ending is just sad for all the characters, there's no way around it..
Again, Kishi wrote Sasuke like that. He also wrote Sakura someone who will never ever get over a crush. How can Naruto confess when she is interested in Sasuke? He brought him back now she ditched Naruto, what do you want the guy to do next? he was going to get painfully rejected anyway, especially now that she knows she has a chance with Sasuke. Yeah, Sasuke developing feelings for her was BS.
Sakura changed only to regress back to her P1 self. It was a temporary development, then it got completely shattered.

I've experienced this kind of disappointment before, twice (which is why I pre-screen endings of the manga I read now... yep, I do that) but can't put my finger on it. Something isn't right, like something's really wrong and I can't quite put my finger on it. Does anyone else have this uneasy feeling?
I think everyone is feeling this.. Like HOW CAN SO MUCH OF SOMETHING JUST GO DOWN THE DRAIN? So much damn time and developmemt between Naruto and Sakura... kitten, in my eyes they were "canon" long ago. It was so out of the blue. Hinata yells Naruto-kun and trips over everything a occasionally and they become a couple? What? Sakura runs to Naruto when he became a damn kyuubi the first time, not giving a damn that he harvest pretty much THE MOST POWERFUL thing known to the ninja world. I'm also pretty sure she has shed more tears for Naruto than Sasuke.. I just have a difficult time seeing how, after everything they have gone through, this is what happens. It just doesn't make sense, and honestly I don't think it ever will.

Denial? LOL. I wish I was in denial so I didn't feel like kitten after reading this ending. Please put me in denial, or even the IT so I can dream up a real ending.

no you need to stop being stuck up to mangapanda's translation..go read the raws and or mangafox translation and it will make more sense...kakashi is the one who said '' you dont need a reason to love'' or ''sakura wanted just to be yours'' or ''because she loves you so much shes breaking her heart''....are you telling me this old senile fool is not the same who said ''you still have feeling for the one who tried to kill you'' in 675? yea dont think so....sure its ambiguous too but if we compare to 699 we were the ones missinterpreting it...thats what the author intended...kishimoto wanted to leave two doors opened one for ns one for ss so that he could choose whichever he wanted to enter in the last minute..if you still believe in mangapandas kittens then your waisting my time so bye

I'll probably watch the movie, just to because I do want some kind of closure...I don't feeling confused and scrambling through different theories, trying to convince myself that what has happened is a conspiracy or sick prank.

I've learnt a ton of things growing up with Naruto. The most important thing is to never stop believing. Ever. So for one last hurrah, to pay this series what I owe it for changing my life, I'm willing to give it one last shot.

OMG! THIS! YES! THANK YOU! Somehow I feel like Spongebob can sum up anything and everything in life. And by Spongebob I mean, before the movie...I don't know what happened to that series after the movie. It just sort of...idek. LOL. But yes, thank you for posting this. The only way I can see things turning around for NS, is if Kishi decides to do an alternative ending for whatever reason. ( And by whatever reason, I mean, because he realizes he kittened up.)
