I had to burn my Shikamaru stuff last, that guy was and always will be my favorite character. At least he got somewhat of a decent ending, instead of getting shafted like the others

Shikamaru was my second favorite side character, he wasn't completely but butuchered by Kishi thank goodness.

I'm still in slight denial about this. It has to be a joke. Kishi could not have sunk down this low. /sigh/, I'm just tired. Emotionally and physically. It's like ten in my time zone. But that's uneccessary

 

This is probably to leave some more room for little side arcs or whatever..sighs...my hopes and everything are dead honestly..but I still love this ship

RIGHT? Why the kitten did we have to see everyone's kids? Kids, kids, kids. That's all we saw. Some random ass kids. Here's how it should have happened. I totally would have done the "where is everyone" part of the timeskip like this if I were in Kishi's place..

Sasuke: Wandering the world with TAKA + Orichimaru
Ino: Head of the interrogation/intelligence unit in Konoha
Hinata: Head/Leader of the Hyuuga clan

We really didn't need the kids, why couldn't we focus on the actual NINJAS and how they progressed? It was just all about the kids and about how parenting is going for their parents.

D: no...my Emo-Flipflopping-Saucy-kun! I'm glad he didn't die. I honestly think he wouldn't have cared if Sakura and Naruto hooked up. I would have been content with him being single, dating Karin, or...well, keep Naruto company every now and then if you know what I mean.   
But awww, it's your first anime? :( This is the first time I guess I got involved in a ship war. Usually ?I'm like, "This is what I like, this is what you like, I respect you, you respect me". This whole competing thing was exciting, but stressful. I probably lost years off my life just waiting for the chapter releases. LOL. But yeah, no worries, it happens! You'll have more ships! More anime with better writers!

LOL! Yes, Naruto was my first anime. I watched the premier on Toonami the day it aired, joined forums and discovered manga. I remember watching the premier like ot was yesterday.. I was like a lil' 12-year old if I remember correctly. Once I got into anime I got into DB/DBZ and bought all the manga ($200.00) T-T ... I was going to do the same thing with Naruto... Buy all the manga boxsets - not so sure anymore. I'm trying to be accepting of how it ended but it was so damn rushed and random.

Personally, I wanted to see Sasuke die. It would've been my ideal ending. He dies after helping Naruto save everyone; a cool redemption, imo. But! Obviously all we can say now is what could've/should've been... Naruto and Sakura will forever be my first real pairing (and Naruto my first anime/manga), and it's sad to say I lost. I will remember this if I ever get back out there in the manga world - don't ship... It will break your heart because you care a lot more than you thought you would.

I guess it's more don't ship on a popular manga. If it were less worldwide known, it might have the right ending. The editors wanted a part 3 and kishi wanted to quit. Naruto was as popular as dragon ball back then. It's sad because I'm sure NS was the real endgame before he sell out.
