Also remember that this guy calls himself a traditionalist...and in Japanese terms that is a lot...Women belong in the kitchen, not on deadly ninja missions. That is Kishi's view on Sakura...and probably Hinata which Naruto will probably abandon, seeing as he has no time for his own kid, ounce he gets tired of her, he probably go get himself killed...somewhere in part 3.

I think that's he's writing style (crappy btw), he basically hype something up to make you believe that it will happen, and then...The big kitten YOU appears, which is for him = "a genius plot twist"..

its good that kishimoto was at least decent enough that he didnt put pairing momets in the last chapter like characters being affectionate to eachother...do you guys imagine what an atrocity would had for some shippers who lost?..like putting salt on the wound and pushing the knife harder in it..i think we should be at least grateful with that little thing despite of this asspul orgy.thats the least he could do after showing the middle finger to ns after 675 chapters of development (thats where it ended for me)..i cant even take ns even as  friendship seriously at this point...not after how suckera prety much ignored poor naruto in 693...its like they are complete strangers with their own personal lives now

Well, it's been fun but I've had enough of feeling sorry for our pairing and betrayed by Kishi. I'm moving on to other things, which means I won't be posting here much, if at all, anymore. NS was a fun hope while it lasted but there's no point moaning and being depressed any further. I'm sure a lot of people will be thrilled to see me leave since I brought an element of pessimism here but the worst ended up happening, all the same so sorry if I made anyone feel any worse. I got into this series when I was around 14, I'm now 22 so I feel like I grew up with it. I'll always have fond memories but those are in a past with 13 year old Naruto and very little pairing drama. All said and done, Naruto and NS will always hold a place in my heart. I'll still be ghosting around here every now and again so feel free to PM if you want.

For those saying that even twilight was better: it ended the exact same way.  Bella ended up with the broody, angsty, guy who left her for no apparent reason even though she loved him.  same as it was for Sakura and Sasuke.  Naruto and Jacob are one in the same, they were both the better, emotionally stable and rational choices.

 

The sad thing is that one of the major themes of this manga, personal growth, was totally ignored where Sakura is concerned.  What happened to Inner Sakura???  She wouldn't stand meekly by while that traitor said 'sorry' for all the destruction and devastation and thought it was adequate atonement.  Every step Sakura took forward in the manga was obliterated by the final two chapters.

 

I think we're allowed to hate Kishimoto for this turn of events, we spent 15 years falling in love with his characters and the plot development only to have it ruined by his own bad writing.
