I can totally see Hinata getting rejected. I mean just look at her facial expression that doesnt look like someone in a happy new relationship.

Welcome to H&E! I agree with you. Hinata might stay behind and pray for Naruto and the others' safety just like what happened in chapter 663.

I agree with you. This movie might be where Naruto resolve his love issue with both Hinata and Sakura.

 

Plus I understand why she is on that poster. I mean in the konoha 11, except anyone who is on team 7, who are the 2 closest people to Naruto and probably will help him when he get to the Hokage chair? You have them on the poster. Naruto is close to Shikamaru when it come to advice and Hinata was a moral support for him during the war. Outside of team 7, those are the closest person to him.

 

Her face however might tell the whole story about her potential rejection or an imminent danger concerning Naruto. I would say maybe Naruto was gone for the village but everyone on this poster, Naruto include, has a determine face.

Thanks for the welcome. And yeah i agree that she might just be shown being worried, thats alot of her character. Of course i can always hope that she grows up a little and starts to lead her clan but sadly i doubt that atleast during the movie.

Yeah if NH happens it will make absolutely no sense and the only way Kishi could get away with it is if he implies their development during the time skip. Of course this would still go against narutos character i mean isnt he the ninja that never gives up.

and THE BIGGEST ignored point is that Sakura is the one who is supposed to get a love as she's main character & her character's base was love

Good point and since sasuke is out of the picture thanks to his oh so subtle rejection NS is in the clear. Although it does kinda annoy me that sakura didnt hear sasuke when he said he never liked her that way but i guess the hand through the chest was a big enough hint

So does anyone know why Sasuke is still alive in this movie? I mean I've always known he would survive but he's still a murderer and an internationally notorious terrorist. I can't see any way for him to live amongst shinobi unless he uses force or goes into hiding. No amount of talk no jutsu from Naruto is going to convince people to let Sasuke rejoin them. In fact the only reason why they didn't kill him on the spot when he showed up was because they were in no position to complain about who's helping them.

 

If I had to guess I would say that Kishimoto is going to ignore that issue entirely and let him join the village anyways.

He's a wanderer who probably comes back to Konoha for the movie because they need him and Naruto's combined powers.

If Sasuke is a wanderer, how could Naruto ever fulfill his Promise of a Lifetime?

 

But again, when Naruto said he'll "bring him back" it can be interpreted explicitly to bring him back to Konoha; or it can also be interpreted implicitly to bring him back to the good side. I suppose, the former is more in line...

 

Naruto did say he could not confess to Sakura before he fulfilled his promise. so...

 

Anyways, someone brought a nice benchmark earlier with the significance of movie poster from other series (i.e. Inuyasha or Rurouni Kenshin). I tend to agree with the observation. That is, if Hinata is going to play a role in the movie, it'll probably more for conflict introduction/resolution for her side. I'm still stand firm with my guess since she's introduced --that somehow she'll be the catalyst to make NaruSaku canon. I'll keep my fingers crosssed.

 

I like the fact that regardless of the hoo-haa with the twitter, we got a detailed sketches of Naruto and Sakura side-by-side. Some more we have Naruto's sketch behind Sakura's for height comparison. I'm quite certain that these two will play as main cast throughout the movie (hopefully as much as they were in Road to Ninja). There's no point to promote them in details just to skip their importance.
