So i just recently read chapter 691 and saw Naruto mentioned "But mom told me to look for a girl as great as she is that's...uhh...ANYWAY! Not everything's just going the way mom told me! But I'm trying my Best!"

 

Personally I think this is a big hint of an upcoming Naruto confession on the following chapters! Although some may argue or twist "Not everything's just going the way mom told me!" means that he fell for the "weird one" not the one like his mother. I can smell victory coming!

If I am wrong I would love to hear thoughts or opinions from you guys as we are prided to use logic

Not everything is going in his way- its complicated. If he is in love with Hinata. There would be no complications at all. Hinata is already in love with him. It will bot be hard with him to get Hinata if that's the case. 

So if there is still complications, meaning he hasn't confessed yet and is finding the right time. AND, he will never give up and do his best. That is his ninja way! 

Now that he's already 17, I expect him to man up and just confess to Sakura already!!

I prefer Sakura doing the confession once again but this time with fully resolved feelings. I want her confession to look real and that can only happen when she gets a closure about her feelings with sasuke. Naruto doing the confession right now will kind of make him rejecting Sakura during her confession just so useless. He rejected Sakura earlier and I won't understand the sudden change in his mind and start thinking Sakura loves him(thus confesses), unless and until he sees Sakura getting her feelings resolved.

Well your right about that Naruto needs to man up and confess already.

True that Naruto still thinks she still loves Sasuke but Kakashi was assuming that she doesn't love Sasuke anymore

It could be Hinata, but it's not, thanks to the "But I'm trying my best" phrase, which destroy this possibility. He's trying his best to get the girl that's alike his mom. That's why kishi didn't want to spoil the readers true he still thinks Sakura still loves Sasuke but Kakashi was also assuming that she doesn't love Sasuke anymore I think Sakura should confess instead of Naruto confessing to her it would make much more sense.

Anyone saying its ambiguous at this time is either lost or just making excuses, the hint for find a girl like kushina, its none other than sakura, there's more than enough evidence for it. It doesn't mean NS is granted, just the most likely inferred, kishi has given the audience enough clues to piece these together with 504, 631, and now this for it being the third time well, yeah its going to be important in the end. Point is, NS is the most likely to come for these. It is considered important to come again but Naruto still has issues to resolve, in that part, he has a girl he loves (sakura) but he has his problem of needing to deal with Sasuke. In the end though, most likely the coming months Sakura may turn his way because of the final events with sasuke. Naruto will confess, he has too. I would be more surprised if he didn't or didn't get the chance, things are pointing on NS and well, its not ambiguous, its otherwise, obvious.

At this point Kishi is obligated to make NS canon, if he doesn't then this whole thing with the parents was entirely pointless and if he ended up with Hinata then well same problem.

I mean if Kishi just put those NS moments in his story for nothing and just wasted it and Naruto ended up with Hinata or Ino whatever I would be so mad.

NaruHina fans are gonna take it as Naruto not wanting to have to find a girl like Kushina, because (apparently) he's in love with Hinata, a girl he barely knows. 

 

There's just no way for it to point towards Hinata. That would be illogical. Naruto still has feelings for Sakura. Sakura has feelings for Naruto. It's pretty simple. And wow, their foreshadowing the Sakura = Kushina thing a lot... I love it.
