So heres my prediction and reasoning for it.
Chapter 675.
Sakura lives (by means of obito, herself, or simply dodging the thing)
Obito is in trouble
Madara gets the right rinnegan
Other stuff with Naruto and Sasuke occurs while seeing to kakashi.
What I don't want/believe will happen:
Sakura dying or Sasuke (or naruto) jumping into the kamui dimension to save Sakura.
Yet the big deal here is just what this coming chapter is.
Chapter 675 is presumably the 8th chapter of volume 70. In other words, this is the start or the climax chapter.
The big stuff occurs around this point so whats my take on it? Well part of my prediction involving sakura living, its just if this is the climax, a big event will occur. If its a big event and its something involving a character death, sakura's death doesn't solve much but what about Obito?
I feel in the next 5 chapters, this will be Obito's end. Think about it, the past 15 chapters have been this game of keep away from Madara. In all this time, obito wasn't just ready to die laying down, when it seemed all hope was lost and naruto was doomed, Obito after being used and abused to bring Madara back to life, finally stood up and rebelled against him. Obviously we have a sense that Obito's time was limited after his defeat, he was ready to just use the rinne tensei and foil madara's plot but black zetsu ambushed him and created the hostage situation with him. Obito got up, said enough was enough, turned on Madara and worked with Kakashi to save naruto.
So the deal though is though, why is obito to die now? Well looking at all the stuff that happened, he was ready to die, but after seeing naruto go down, getting his own resolve back and how madara just used him as a pawn, obito came to his senses along with what naruto told him about rin not even wanting to look at him anymore. The situation though that obito is about to die, theres a funny sense of something here, think about it Obito has a direct reason of impacts with kakashi and indirectly with naruto and sasuke. As a teammate, he suffered and forwent his past after the stuff with kakashi failing to protect rin occured. Because of this he followed madara and caused the death of naruto's parents and him to be the 9 tails jinchurki. After this, Sasuke was impacted because the events of the 9 tails attack caused the village to distrust the uchiha and vice versa causing Itachi to go on his path. See the deal here? Obito has some relation, connection, corrlation, and impact on all the guys of team 7. But not with Sakura. Yet it sounds just completely easy, almost too ideal though, but the whole situation it sounds outright stupid even to me, but the sole fact he is in the current situation with sakura, the whole reason he did what he did was because he couldnt save rin. It sounds just too abritity, too similar, but I believe that we will get a Sakura-Rin event by means of Obito saving Sakura. Its like if we knew for years there were similar aspects of sakura to rin being medical ninja and having as similar team dynamic early on, well Rin is important to Obito on a personal level, Obito has been redeeming himself, or trying at least in the time he has left. My belief is that him saving sakura, gives him finally a corraltive action to sakura, but also turning around what he couldnt when he was younger in how he failed with Rin.
I mean look at the present situation, the Kamui dimension always had 2 "keys" and madara just snatched one from kakashi, the heroes are locked out of the safe room, Madara snuck in and though a torso ambushed Sakura and Obito. Obviously its not good, Black Zetsu could rise any moment, sakura was caught off guard, the rod is flying towards them, the last thing we see is obito's reaction which now leads us to speculate, will Obito be able to act or not?
The deal is, what does obito have left if his last request was destroying the Rinnegan? Obviously its a bad situation for both Sakura and Obito being that even for just half a body, Madara is still a threat. My take on it is this though, Obito will save Sakura but not die ASAP, he will lose the Rinnegan but because the climax is coming I believe it will be like this:
However the event plays out, Sakura is alive, Obito is wounded. Madara returns to the fight, but obito's time is otherwise up, by some means Obito and sakura get out of the dimension and given how impactful Obito has been on kakashi and Naruto at least, there will be his last words and the climax of the volume I ultimately believe will be madara getting his rinnegan back but Obito manages to save Sakura and have his last words to Naruto and Kakashi. I just feel that something is coming, if there is an important death coming, then it has to be on Obito because, just going on a tangent here but if sakura is not important to the sage stuff, then her death doesn't have relevance to the events, Obito however does because of his involvement with Madara and how both Naruto and Sasuke were lopped into the centuries old rivalry, Sakura like Kakashi is only tied to these current events by means of team associatation, not the ultimate build of the current events which involves the greater plot deal right now, the eye of the moon plan. Sakura's relvence is by team 7 in this situation like how kakashi's is by obito and minato being there. Killing sakura doesn't accomplish this, but Obito's death which has been foreseeable for many chapters, could finally be coming. I mean right now its like how far can he go? Obito's death will be the thing that gives naruto the resolve to defeat Madara, even in the end while knowing naruto at this point, he will forgive obito for everything he did and caused to fall upon him. Obito's death will be the big dramatic moment aside from madara getting the eye because the fight may have started but Madara running around to get the other eye, if he is twice as powerful as naruto and sasuke, he needs that other rinnegan because you saw what naruto did to him with the lava rasengan, it wasnt good for him even after guy nailed him hard. Madara needs the rinnegan or this fight would be done. Its the coming events though, I believe Obito saving sakura will be one of his last good deeds and as stupid and overly simple as it sounds, the parallel may be something that gives Obito at last, a character who has impacted all of team 7.
I mean its a prediction, I can be wrong, but given if anyone dies, I'm calling obito because well, his time was numbered for one thing but he was also doing what he could against madara for as long as he could. If his time is almost up well, then I don't believe kishi would kill 2 people in one volume let alone his heroine whose death wouldn't bring a sensible impact in all of this. But I feel that Obito is going to die soon.
