BTW any thoughts about the Karin and Kushina thing the comparation was made exactly in the same fashion as it was for the Naruto and MItto one , so what does that mean ? is there more to it or is it just an Uzumaki thing .    

 

I think it's just an Uzumaki thing.  The fact that Karin has displayed the same technique or capability as Kushina is because they are both Uzumaki and it might be a bloodline limit.  The fact that Sakura is like Kushina is because their personalities are similar, and Kishimoto wishes us to understand that as Kushina became Minato's wife, Sakura is likely destined to be Naruto's.  That's all.

 

Although, if I get your drift, you're probably right that some fans will try to blur that distinction in order to say it doesn't matter that Sakura is like Kushina, or that Minato thought so when he saw Naruto and Sakura interacting together.  Nothing we can do about that.

You know, stuff like this confounds me.  How could anyone miss the obvious denial that is inherent in a shop/swap job like this?  They literally had to replace the ACTUAL GIRL with the girl they prefer.  It's not real.  It's worse than not real.  It's something Kishimoto could have easily done if he intended this to be the story's reality.  But he didn't.  

 

How does nurturing a fantasy like this make any sense at all?  Wouldn't it just be simpler to accept the story as it's written?  

 

And that's the thing.  They don't like the story as it's written.  They don't accept it.  So stuff like this gets made in some kind of defiant attempt to circumvent reality.  Why follow a story you don't like?  Why argue about it?  Why spoil the experience for others because you can't accept things as they are?

 

I don't get it.  I wish this kind of stuff wasn't posted randomly on these threads.  It's impossible to escape, and it hurts my brain.

Wow, I was thinking right now. Isn't today Naruto's birthday? I remember he said something about his birthday coming. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's already his birthday, since it's probably more than midnight in their world. We could get even more symbolism with it. Like his "rebirth", with Sakura being his life "carrier", like Kushina.

And he got the best present of his life: Sakura's lips.

I just realized something.

Sakura vs Karin could easily happen during Naruto vs Sasuke fight. I really hope it does, it has potential to establish Sakura ane Karin as two strongest Kunoichi...

Karin isn't exactly a credible paradigm of strength and accomplishment. There are others of greater worth who could be used to cement Sakura's rise to greatness. It would hopefully be someone with the skill and proficiency of a Kage who allows her the opportunity to finally demonstrate the rate of her progress; the context of being trained by an Hokage could be defined by having Sakura reach that plateau herself.

Maybe this is also some kind of an indication that Naruto will awaken those chains to and maybe even something more than that , it seems like Kishi is going that route with exploring the Uzumaki's abilities or  KKG i hope this really happens .           

Rikudou will be the first to announce the raw release, so it's only matter of time.

Well in the manga right now yes it is. His birthday is on the 10th of October. It would be a treat for all of us to say it' CPR but when Minato will see what Sakura is doing he will ask himself why is she kissing Naruto. I'm excited to see what will happen with Minato. Probably if he saves his son he will be released from edo tensei and I wonder if he will get to say good bye to him.

I don't know, considering they have human anatomy maintaining good hygiene seems like common sense.

 

I should also probably point out that the "main characters are dropping like flies" was intended to have an exaggerated/joking tone to it. I probably didn't make it obvious enough, so my bad on that.

 

 

about hygiene, you're right it's common sense, but it was never introduced in Naruto's world so we shouldn't bother with it IMO.

Lately I have been thinking to myself about this chapter, and why a lot of us are so happy with this chapter, despite the fact most of us accept the fact that Sakura's actions aren't necessary romantic. After thinking about it for a day, I came up with two theories of why many of us are celebrating about what happen in this chapter.

 

The first theory is that I think people were just caught off guard by the CPR. I know some of us were hoping it will happen, and others even predicted it will happen, but I don't think majority actually believe it will happen because kissing is such a rarity in Shonen Manga. Even CPRs are not even common, so the fact that the series will show something pretty risque for manga for teens and pre-teens. Kishi didn't need to have Sakura perform CPR on Naruto, in fact he didn't need to have her cut into Naruto and message his heart. He could just had her do her normal thing of having her hands over Naruto's body, and do her normal medical ninja stuff and we would have all bought it. He didn't need to go the extra mile to have her do that. While I believe he did that to show Sakura in very capable and awesome situation, it is still find it kind of remarkable for the Naruto series to actually show an opposite gender lip-to-lip action and not be comedy focus. 

 

My second theory is that I feel like having Karin in the same chapter trying to save Sasuke, kind presents an interesting comparison to Sakura's attempts in saving Naruto. I brought this up in the previous chapter's thread, we all know that Karin, without a doubt or argument, loves Sasuke. So when see her doing everything in her power to save Sasuke, we know it is out of romantic love. Coincidently enough, Sakura is also trying to save the life of Naruto in the same chapter. Since readers are already under the impression that Karin's actions are for her love for Sasuke, it isn't hard for most readers to make a similar assumption for Sakura and Naruto in the same chapter. Though obviously Sakura will try to save Naruto out of love, we don't essentially know it isn't the same kind of love for Karin. As mention beforehand, Karin is literally doing everything in her power to help Sasuke, and we know she loves him romantically. We also know that Sakura is also literally doing everything in her to help Naruto.

 

If both of those scenes didn't take place in the same chapter, then I wouldn't come up with this theory of why us NS fans like this chapter so much. However they did happen in the same chapter, and we got Kishi finally putting in an opposite gender lip-to-lip action (unless I am forgetting something). I think it is the combination of the two theories that explains why so many of us are soo satisfied with this chapter.

And it's true, as someone said, Naruto will have a rebirth (thanks to Sakura and his father) on his birthday.

It's really strong to me.

It's a kiss and yet not a kiss, pretty much like how the Jerza beach scene was. They were inches of being canon and then it goes back to status quo immediately afterwards.

But it's an unusual SFX 'cause that one is mostly used when the boy just got a boner I don't know why Kikitten used this sfx, maybe Naruto had really an erection. Kishi's just a perv. Even on 2ch, jap blogs and twitter jap people are making fun about this... They are questioning themselves if Naruto had really a boner.

Wile that is really funny  , i thought that SFX was put there to indicate that his chest are receiving air from Sakura's "deep kisu " (sorry just couldn't resist this    ) , but hey i might be wrong after all it's Naruto we are talking about the boy even in his death state will get a boner if it's from his Sakura chan   , now that is what i call "The Will of Fire"
