Well, this chapter was far less exciting than I thought it would be. I simply can't see what happened with Naruto and Sakura as pairing related since she's performing a medical procedure and has her professional face on. Hopefully others won't take this moment out of context....

 

That being said, it was nice to see Karin and Sakura giving their all to save Sasuke and Naruto respectively. You go girls.

least its more than a hand hold >>. i know it is cpr, but lip to lip contact is still nice to see

And oh boy that NS panel I'm curious how to NH fanbase is going to explain this one.

guys just calm down, it was CPR not a kiss. this is the same as her healing him last chapter except this time she has no chakra to spare.

Yeah, but why have Sakura perform mouth-to-mouth? She already has his hand in his heart, I doubt people will consider this chapter purely platonic/ brotherly love/ just a medical procedure. And Sakura remembered all of his promises to her too. ;___;

-Tries to hold in fan girl screams- Anyway, the whole week we had to wait for the chapter was worth it! We get some great NaruSaku interactions with Sakura going all out to save Naruto, although it was a little ouch... I mean she literally cut him open and grabbed his heart, but it was to keep him going. I'm glad she did it though.

Ok, phew. Good to see the fandom isn't exploding h- OH MY GOD 99 users reading this topic...

Well, at least the reaction is more sane than I was expecting so far. Honestly, this is arguably one of the trolliest things Kishimoto's done with pairings in the entire manga. The closest thing to kissing, yet it lacks all of the impact. It's just CPR. Medical treatment.

 

Also, Madara's sudden complete wardrobe change was.... odd, to say the very least.

Of course the fandom isn't exploding. There wasn't anyhing romantic in this chapter. 

Sakura was just healing Naruto, she was all professional through the chapter. The only real NS moment we got was when she remembered Naruto's dream and sweared she wouldn't let him die. 

And the CPR was just what it is. That's probably why it didn't gave me any feel at all. 

To be honest, I wouldn't even mind if the Anti-NS find excuse to say it wasn't romantic, since I got the exact same feeling. 

 

Don't get me wrong, I still love NS and believe it will be end pairing, it's just that I think this chapter wasn't as exciting than it could have been. But I still enjoyed all the NS interactions in this chapter. It's just that I found 631 more "near canon". I say let's wait and see. We still hav more NS chapter incoming.

Why has Karin never used this ability before? I'm sure it could have come in handy on several occasions.

I'm aware, believe me. I was just expecting worst-case scenario in terms of overreaction, is all. Glad to see it hasn't reached that point.

I am not overreacting so much as to the CPR as to the fact that Sakura is literally doing EVERYTHING she can to keep him alive. It shows how strong and creative she can be in such a tense state.

 

On another note did anyone catch the last sentence "Madara finally shows up in front of Kakashi"....

there was nothing romantic, but at least it shows she is willing to do whatever it takes to keep him alive.

yeah and atleast we didn't get trolled like the nh fans did back then although even some ns fans believed there were heroine tones in that chapter but it turned out to be nothing

If he was after Sasuke he wouldn't have needed to leap high into the air like that. They were only a dozen metres away from each other. As for the mysterious figure at the end of the chapter... Well we know that whoever they are, they're barefoot with some notable marks on their legs and feet. How many people do we know that are currently without any footwear and have sustained marks recently? Suigetsu, Juugo, Karin. Some people are theorising that it might be Kabuto but I doubt it. He's probably still in the cave and putting Sasuke into this critical situation would be a waste if the saviour was intended to be anyone besides his teammates; their reactions were expressly noted in the last chapter so there must be a reason.
