Let's move all future SasuKarin discussion to the Official SasuKarin Thread. It was requested and made for this very purpose.

 

As for the sniping and impolite nature, knock it off. I'm not going back through and pointing fingers, just reminding everyone to engage in fair, courteous debate. Especially as the pairing strife is not likely to end soon.

 

Outside pairing is okay to be discussed here, just as long as it ties back to NS.

I hate it so much when people say how Naruto is Sakura's "best friend" so they can say that Sasuke has the role of the "lover". It makes me want to puke so much.

 

Not only does it spit in the face of everyone who considers their romantic partner as their best friend, but at the same time they stupidly make it all revolve around Sakura when they should be focusing on Naruto.

 

Naruto is the main character, he's the one who has development with the "best friend" who is Sasuke and with the "lover" who is Sakura, and we can make them as those roles since that's who they've always been associated towards Naruto.

 

It's like people love to gloss over the potential romantic development that Naruto and Sakura have. They probably imagine that Naruto skips to Sakura's house every day to talk about boys and have their nails done since he's totally her "best friend" who can't fulfill the role of potential lover.

To be fair, I consider Sakura both Naruto's best friend AND lover.

 

If your lover/GF/Wife/Boyfriend/Husband/SO isn't your best friend there is something MAJOR wrong with your relationship.

I guess if I find funny when we see stuff relating to ns many fans jump to its awful, does not compute, ruins sakura, Sasuke, or hinata somehow. Yet we never or hardly see nh and SS, it's shown for a short time either going unaddressed, not connected to anything, or just shown as negative (land if iron for SS) it's somehow true love and makes perfect sense. Seriously I question SS just by the land if iron, 540, and 635. How is the land of iron thing a good form of progress for SS? How does this event form on Sasuke himself? It's such a funny irony that SS is the most popular despite having even less development than nh and ns being the most frequent and shown developed pairing gets all the hate and disapproval. I mean it's kinda like boba fett in Star Wars, he is insanely popular despite not having much of a role in the main movies. It's only due to the expanded universe he has a much more notable role. But in naruto it's just, is this common? Something should be more popular because it isn't shown as much and it should be hated more because it's shown more? By this case then whatever legit pairing exists in naruto that exists the least in terms of screentime should be the most popular and narusasu should by right be the most hated cause the narusasu friendship is shown more than narusaku. That's basically how it should be by all accounts.

Ino is Sakura's best friend as well, but Naruto also fulfills the romance role along with the best friend role.

 

The same with Naruto when it comes to Sasuke and Sakura. They're both his best friends, but Sasuke fulfill the brotherhood role while Sakura fulfills the lover role.

 

There doesn't have to be just one best friend. When you have more then one sibling and you all get along you don't go thinking about who you would care more for, would you?

Oh, about the love bridge, yeah, I started building that a while back, and the project was almost complete. But one of our D11 bulldozers broke down so there's going to be a bit of a delay on the bridge of looove. But don't worry. Once that piece of junk starts working again, I'll get right back to work.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I heard there was a strike for a bit when something about spreading the rumor. The rumor was about a love bridge being made elsewhere. I believe it had Naruto involved and some other girl. Luckily, the work resumed after the rumor was fault. It continued in January 2013. It must be hard.
