Why do people NOT ship these two? I just don't get it.

Probably cause they hate Sakura. When she's probably the most developed female character in the whole show.

I respect Hinata, but Sakura deserves some too.

Sorry, I just can't bring myself to appreciate this character. She comes off as some pathetic, desperate love-struck shy-woobie (who Naruto must date, thanks to her fandom) who cannot live without Naruto.

 

That's why NH constantly kittens on Naruto's feelings and treats him like he is an a**hole that would mislead his dead dad just to poke fun of Sakura.

While I agree completely... The way these topics turned people rarely appretiate the characters character (if you get my drift). That isnt the sole purpose of the topics, not by a long shot but it a standing trend. Especially in this particual topic.
