I don't see why its boring...?

Its Gamescom, its not another E3. They have to save some ammo for later, and besides, a lot of exclusives are still being worked on... so no point in shouting: OMG WE HAS THESE GAMES if they dont have a release date or any other news.

If anything, more news will come between now and VGAs, TGS events. Wait till then for more news.

And more focus on indie games is great, especially for Sony (since that can draw more support and they can get more talent behind some blockbusters later on)

M$ basically crapped on Indie gamers with the 360 restrictions.

Not to mention the increase support for the Vita ensured that it's not goign anywhere. Not to mention Boarderlands 2 on Vita that's really big news.

I might spring for a Vita before I spring for a PS4. I just got a PS3 last Thanksgiving and that's a ton of JRPGs and Visual Novels that were only released on the PSP or Vita that I want to play on the run.

Was it bad? It wasn't mindblowing, but It wasn't bad. Theres not much of a point to announce their big first parties, when they won't be out until next holiday. Although I'm positive Uncharted will show up at the VGA's. They still announced new games, price drop for the vita and its accessories. It was the most news we're going to get out of gamescom.

Yeah I mean if we're talking about let downs regarding no top dog titles form the companies themselves then they were All successful at the time of their launch no? Nintendo only released info on their top titles this year, and I don't see to many Sony titles that I like and the ones that do are still in development stages at this point. other than that I saw a few interesting things from Sony.

People are most looking for third party titles, Sony did it right what's the point on released an AAA title right now when pratically everyone is looking for the hyped games like Watchdogs, ACIV, BF4 and COD:Ghosts.

Sony is playing it like a smart poker game, hinting they have an awesome hand, but not showing all their cards.

I Don't deny that, but only expressing a possibility for  some individuald to bemoan what was shown. It wasn't bad as was stated already. In fact some things really did interest me

So while the west was asleep, Sony held a conference and dropped bombs

First they announced a redesigned VitaibghspDCDeK00t.gif

New Vita in different colors, Wi-Fi model. Yellow, pink, white, gray, lime green and and light blue. A thinner and lighter model. 5 inch LCD display. 1 GB memory card built in. 1 hour more battery life. Micro USB type B, universal standard, to transfer data.

While the design is at least not a failure compared to 2DS, Im not down with them getting rid of the OLED screen. Still, this is only fitting to announce as they try and revitalize Vita Sales.

They also announced Gundam for PS4, A new Suda 51 game called Lily Bergamo, a new Guilty Gear, they are bringing Dynast Warriors to PS4...

Deep Down was detailed

- Online Only
- Ps4 Exclusive with SCEJ engineers helping with dev
- Game looks like a mix of Assassins Creed and Demon Souls
- Game takes place in New York 2094 and you go back in to memories of olden times

- Randomly generated dungeons and monsters and loot
- Game looks like it plays similar to Demon Souls but online.

He also showed the Dragon fight from the first reveal and it was glorious! Will be playable at TGS

http://www.youtube.c...h?v=Psw07YbY70U

And they surprised everyone with the reveal of PSVITAtv

- Plays PSP, Vita and PS1 games
- Has all the VITA apps for movies, HULU, Netflix etc
- Runs VITA OS
- 9450 yen / 100 USD
- Can Remote Play PS4 to another TV if the one the PS4 is connected to is being used.
- Launch in japan on Nov 14
- 6cm x 10cm console

You can hook this up to any tv in your house and play PS4 on it without moving your console around. You can also use it for remote play with Vita, playing PS4 games at work and school etcku-bigpic.jpg

Heres the super awesome trailer

Wow, turns out that Capcom medieval Deep Down is set in New York during 2094, were people can acess memories of their ancient relatives with advanced technology. This is so stupid and disappointing. If you are going to make an game don't rip off an entire concept from another one. You dropped the ball again Capcom.

the concept is cool but if they were not monsters and put players to fight on famous battles would be nice, imagine if someome could access the memory of Lucius Artorius Castus(King Arthur), i think this concept would fit better to fight medieval wars instead of doing dungeons against monsters.

LIVE STREAM ALL CO-OP!

And Deep Down looked pretty cool. Been looking forward to a Demon's Souls like game with proper co-op.

Look for me and Mik3 on Twitch/UStream in the future.

Edit: They're also getting rid of the old MT Framework engine? I expect a new Resident Evil built on Panta Rhei.

To be honest, since AC is kind of not doing anything innovative with the concept, I don't even really care. Esepcially, with visuals like that.

Vita TV intrigues me.

There are only a few PSP/Vita exclusives that truly interest me. I wasn't that concerned with portability and playing it on the go. The option to play it on the big screen is nice.

I'll most likely do some streaming myself, although, probably not as much as you guys are going to do....

Deep Down takes place in future New York and relive ancient history a la AC Animus style?  That actually sounds AWESOME.

....Although, that sounds like something the Templars did for Assassin's Creed: Liberation.... OMG, I've said too much!
