Dunno exactly who it is. I think there are many others but meh... The one responded me was so...how should I say it, full of himself, maybe?

he was a japanese translator?

Anyway, the translator which I was talking about is Shounensuki. He's really good and it was one of Naruwiki's owners. He was even on NF giving some helpful translation. He was really a good one. Sadly, he doesn't have enough time anymore to giving all himself for naruwiki. And I can say withou problem that after his departure, Naruwiki's quality is very decreased...

This was his answer.

Basically, this random anon showed up and decided to accuse us of not using the RAW in our translation of Kishimoto's remarks on the status of Sakura as the series' heroine. Since then, several others have jumped in and accused this wiki (specifically the trivia note) to be the reason why fans dislike Sakura so much. Because, according to them (you can seriously look above and read all of this), we're bias against Sakura. Both claims are ludicrous, as this wiki always confirms translations with the RAWS, therefore, a random user that pops up out of nowhere has less credibility. As to the second argument, the notion that this wiki, and specifically that trivia bullet, has anything to do with the fans of the series having a problem with Sakura is laughable at best, and completely absurd at most. Furthermore, this site only caters to the English speaking fans, and Naruto is printed in several languages. So, yeah, that suggestion is out the window. There is no bias going on here, the site has always reported the facts to the best of our knowledge and abilities. Therefore, unless anyone else sees any reason otherwise, I think this conversation should be over with. ~ Ten Tailed Fox 14px-Yamagakure_Symbol.svg.png 00:15, June 15, 2013 (UTC)

And no wonder about the decreasing of the quality...

Yeah, Sakura's page is such a mess on some very critical points of her character. Dunno how I will take it from here, for the moment I am on pause... However, I will get back to them. With one last thing. But I have to prepare very good for my last speech there.

Not to mention, really, most of them lack so much comprehensive reading that it makes me laugh, sadly. They still haven't got the thing right with Sakura's seal...

What's the point of them doing this? If you know you're being biased, and you know your translating something wrong. Why would you give people this crap? Especially when you know the entire anti-Sakura fanbase will use this, but you, the maker of this fake translation, would know that they were being stupid. Is it because you want to blind yourself so that you can think that Hinata is better than Sakura? Why do fans do this to themselves???? :arg:

Dunno what to say, really... It shocked me that an admin spoke like that. Other simple users were a bit more mature, however, I expected something else from the admins...
They say that it has nothing to do, when actually it has all. People use NarutoWikia for many reasons and that was one of them.

Dunno, I am really very saddened about this...

As a newcomer to the world of Naruto, and having been introduced through the anime rather than the manga, I can say my experience is that there is a huge amount of misinformation and lies on the internet, as far as English websites are concerned.  For someone who has just been introduced to Naruto, the misinformation can really cloud your thinking, especially if you haven't had a chance to read through the manga yet (which I hadn't, trying now but exams keeping me down).   Thank goodness for places like this forum to educate newcomers on whats going on in a logical, factual manner.  As someone said above, why do people lie to themselves, its just really pointless.  Lol @ silly people :D

I understand how you feel I think it's unfair the false information they're trying to show on Sakura's character. But this won't change KIshimoto's mind, what counts is that he will always remain fond and loyal to her and that he will continue to develop her for the better including putting her and Naruto together at the end of the manga. The question Narutopedia has to ask" what will they do when NS becomes canon???" Are they going to continue putting more bias crap on their site??? Or more bias crap on Sakura and Naruto's bio page and what difference will it make if the pairing is already done or that Kishimoto has made up his mind in putting them together by the time he started writing his manga.

Still that translation really has to change because it concerns Sakura as a character not the pairing as a whole. If that translation remains and NS happens Sakura will be hated for just being a pairing fodder character, and Hinata fans will be disappointed that Hinata didn't get more development " as the new heroine". If it's changed than it would help clear some things up.

Exactly... it will look so crappy... but meh, they are so biased they don't even see their own mistakes. I feel also that the majority there has little to none comprehensive reading. Really. The way they analyze the moments it's just so out of the way.

Special case; Sakura's byakugo seal.

Well, Sakura is the heroine. If some saw her as a pairing fodder... It doesn't make sense the least. Being the heroine completely dismiss the pairing fodder term. These kinds of terms will be said from Antis or another pairing shipper that has his/her pairing goggles well firmed.

I'm still baffled that Hinata was often seen as a heroine. I have no idea how and why, but last time I checked, she is a side character. Not just because what she was assigned to, but what she has done recently. I got no clue where is all this coming from.

It doesnt dismiss when the whole romance plot of the story is Sakura.

The real battle would be with uninformed fans. And if they perceive the Naruto wiki as a legit source then they will form the idea that Hinata is the heroine.

It's in the nature of people to want to be right. Narutopedia is no different.

People are prideful and won't accept being wrong even if the evidence is clear that they are. Being wrong means they loose, and some people just don't have enough self esteem to acknowledge that with dignity.

You're right. But, the uninformed fans would know that the heroine of the manga, as after seeing who the main characters are, is Sakura which they would know, supposedly, that terms like pairing fodder aren't used for a character like her.

Only if they go completely with what Naruto wiki says and forget how a heroine is like. So...

Don't think you should ask why they make everything between Naruto and Sakura sound negative but between Naruto and Hinata, they make it like a love story. Any new readers who decide to start reading the series are going to be highly confused after coming up to 'wait i thought Hinata was going to be with Naruto, why is he still in love with Sakura." And their translations, well not all translations are the same, some have been done to almost try and change the context, I think there were a few over 631 where some actually tried to limit it like one translation had the Sakura-Kushina part only have Minato say "this girl gets angry like Kushina" rather than the whole reminds me of her thing.

Well, a part of her role in the manga is romance. Nothing wrong with that.

Most the part of her role and an huge part of romance in manga comes from Sakura.

Even her character concept does not help her from being seen as a pairing fodder i see her as someome who will be paired in the end.
I dont see that with Naruto or Sasuke but it's certain that Sakura will because she's the romance subplot of the manga she's always being the major factor that push romance/pairing scenes.

Next chapter we will get some pairing/romance scene and guess what? it will come from Sakura.

Not even Hinata is helping into this because her moments are being seemd as a friendship rather than romantic moments, even the so called 615 moment got seemed as a friendship/comrade moment rather than romance.(Kishi himself)
