If that were true, then why do all the comments about the episode state Naruto's a jerk ^^; (well that could be taken either way XD)

I wonder if people would even respect Hinata if she come out and say, "Go get her." Won't that be funny to see how fans take it?

Do people bash on your post if it has anything to do with sakura? on nb
or do you just go on a debate if people responds on your post.

Don't even try NF. It's not worth it. Just in FC, but not general.

I though Jiraiya was there. Just re-watched it and found out it was a flashback. This is a good thing for us of course.

Damn this took me 3 hours...
Wow, that was a great read Chatte. I was never able to see the hidden meanings behind many of Sakuras panels or how they connected to other events in he story. Great review, I now feel elightened

Why do you do that to yourself ?
Hey guys ep.235 is a filler but it's not as if we needed that to know Naruto loves Sakura, there are more than enough proofs in the manga if people choose to ignore it it's their problem, they are simply setting themselves up for disapointment. If Kishi can't off panel Lee's or Ino's feelings he's not going to off panel his main character's feelings.

"Was the most impactful"? In comparison to the whole series? I completely disagree, things like Gaara's Shinobi world war speech or speech with Naruto's mentors are way more impactful.
You've clearly put a lot of effort into it though.

Gaara's speech was more impactful in a sense, because he spoke to the entire alliance. Sakura spoke to..well those who are left.
Both speeches includes the manga's main themes. End the cycle of hatred, treasure your friends.
Gaara's speech is my favourite of the manga, Sakura's being the second.

There's others too, Obito's Shinobi declaration of war speech is probably bigger than Gaara's.
Sakura's speech was significant, but many are. And it was by no means the biggest.

Did Chatte really say it was the most impactful? The title was "one of the most impactful speeches"

I misread that part, my mistake. That aside, there's plenty of other ones that are more impactful than Sakura's. For example, one of the Kage's.

Yeah, bonus: a parallel. That's funny when even anime does the parallel. I know, filler, I get it. But you got to admit that the studio is really NS fans.
Of course. We're not downplaying anything else. We only acknowledging that Sakura's speech is significant. Is it the most impactful one? No, but it's definitely worth to note on how it's good. After all, Kishi did that part for a reason.

I agree with you, it just a filler.
I think people scare if naruto sudden change of feeling happen of panel.
And it so long that we don't see naruto say his love for her.

Great well thought out post! I don't agree with everything you say, namely Sakura's chakra reserves theory but you made a lot of good points about the strength of Sakura's character and how she has grown mentally. I honestly have not had a single problem with her character until it seemed like Kishimoto forgot she existed during the war!
If Hinata had been given the proper development I really wouldn't mind if she had been Naruto's love interest. I have nothing against her, she's just boring. Their interactions just don't make for interesting romance as there is absolutely no conflict other than Naruto friendzoning her. Maybe that would be enough if this were a shoujo manga and she were the main character and her main goal was to get Naruto to notice her.
To be honest Sasuke and Sakura holds more appeal to me than NaruHina. But again for SS to satisfactorily happen the story would have to be told in a very different way. I can see the appeal in never losing your feelings for the one you love no matter what life throws your way.
One way I could see SS happening is if Naruto, Hinata, and Sakura had been developed differently. If Naruto and Hinata had been given sufficient interaction for a bond of love to grow between them, Sakura's reunion with Sasuke wouldn't dominate the romance subplot and look so bad. Naruto would receive proper romantic development as the main character and Sakura could have the man she always wanted.
Yet another way I could see it happening is if Naruto didn't have strong feelings for Sakura at any point or was a few years younger than her and Sasuke. Naruto could still be the main character and do his thing and fans of the type of romance that SS is could get their wish.
Seeing as how Naruto is a manga that is light on romance (or maybe the romance is just more subtle) the only logical end pairing is for the hero to get with the girl he's always loved. Is it just me or do other pairing fandoms seem to put the interests of Hinata and Sakura before that of Naruto and Sasuke? At worst I see the story left open-ended pairing wise but for some reason I just don't think that's going to be the case this time.

100% agree with your post.
I think base on this manga genre, we will get an epilogue few years ahead. So it's important to know who is naruto wife.
But it could be open ending, because I see how hard kishi keep status quo of love triangle.

Thank you for the welcome.
Of course it deserves acknowledgment, but to say it is one of the most impactful is a little too high to hold it, it's significant, clearly, but doesn't hold a fraction of the weight as some others.
I don't mean to downplay it mind, though it may seem like such.

I understand. It's just unfair how they want to downplay it to the point that it never happened. Plus, it did start the fire on the alliance, so you have to mention the root of all things in your review, big or small. It happened. Not targeting on you, just people who really don't see anything at all, and that's messed up.
