I can't believe the Kage's were beat though. How? Why did it have to be off-screen too? Makes me wonder what Madara did.... Oh, and who's the old guy in the last page?
Don't worry, Kishi doesn't have it in him to kill Gaara. Tsunade is probably going to die, but...it needs to happen. I'm sorry. x.x
The old guy is most likely Madara.

Thing is, if he wanted her to live, why even cut her in half in the first place? To try to cause suspense in an arc where no main characters have died in a war yet? Yeah, good job with that Kishi.
If Tsunade doesn't die from this, then it'll just be a pointless, wasted, failed attempt at causing "suspense" in a story that already is severely lacking it.
I mean, look at me. My favorite character, Gaara, is laying on the ground. Bleeding. Not moving. Why do I not seem to care (aside from that little joke I made a second ago with Leo)? Because I know Kishi won't kill him. Because I know he doesn't have the guts to. And this knowledge causes a huuuge lack of attachment to what's happening in the story.
Well I really want her to be the one who passed on the Hokage tittle to Naruto while saying how she always believed he would Make a great Hokage them making a commnet to Jiraiya's memory saying that she wish he could see how much Naruto grew since the last time they saw each other.
But you right if she to die she die after all this is a war. The part what bothers me is that I was already sad because of the chapter then reading comments about this being good for Sakura's development and for NS is something I found disturbing.
I was hoping to see people anguishing and feeling really sad because one of our favorite character mentor could die, not good this is great for Sakura and NS while also reading some comment about her finally being able to understand Naruto and Sasuke. OK Naruto I get it, but what's there to understand about Sasuke? She need to understand that after losing someone close you become a psychopath Killing people and wanting to kill the one who care about you, you see where I'm going with this?
In the end I see it like has people saying that they only read the story for Sakura, Naruto, NS with some who loves Sasuke.

I understand where you're coming from, but I'm gonna take an educated guess here: the main reason that people may be saying that instead of "nooo Tsunade!!!" is because they want Tsunade to die. I know I do. I mean, I really like Tsunade! But her death has been put off enough to where it just doesn't cause feeling now that we're getting close to it. I want her to die not out of dislike, but out of desperation. I want Kishi to make a good writing choice, very badly. Tsunade dying would be a very good one, especially because it would develop Sakura more.

I don't know about the situation but ironically, now we are getting flashback in which I wish it happened after the Tsunade's situation, so now I want to rush the flashback. It's funny how that works on me.

Yeah, I really wanted to see Obito's back story, and I still do. But it coming right after the whole Tsunade thing............yeah, I'm now more interesting seeing her fate, and how it effects certain characters. Oh well, now we get to see a half-crushed twelve years old with a old man who has been around for decades. YEAH!

This chapter is depressing. For some reason I always thought of the Obito/Tobi thing as a... borrowing Obito's body situation. So when it was revealed that Tobi actually was Obito, I just thought 'well, something must've happened after he died'. It slipped my mind that he might have survived (if that's what Kishi is going to show us) and gone over to the dark side himself (an idea I don't like!). These last few chapters are making me want to go back to when everyone was a genin and life was dandy...

WTF DID I JUST READ????!!!!!
Tsunade!!!!! No! Why Kishi, why! Granted, Tsunade isn't actually dead yet but it's not looking good for her. I've never seen her this severely wounded. It's amazing she's even still conscious with all the unbearable pain she's going through. If she's going to heal the Kages (who are in terrible shape as well), she's sacrificing her life for them. There's no way she can survive this. I'm so upset by this turn of events . She's one of my favorite characters! It was bad enough when Jiraiya died. Poor Naruto and Sakura.
Sadly, this is probably the entire point of this. Tsunade dies a noble death for a Kage saving others, and Sakura goes through some great character development. I am 1000 times against this solution for her character but there really is no better way to do this. But the heart-breaking sadness of her passing as well as Naruto and Sakura's grief will be unbearable for me when the time comes. NS moments will undoubtly happen due to their grief but I don't think they'll get together because of this. It's a factor maybe but not the main reason.
I SO do not want Naruto Hokage right now. He needs to be older and less emotional, more level-headed. Plus there's still Sasuke to deal with and he said himself he didn't want to become Hokage until he takes care of that.
As for Obito, I'm looking forward to seeing his backstory next week more than Tsunade's fate (Besides his history after the rockfall being a big "?" , I kinda wanna be in the dark a bit about Tsunade. I'm afraid of the outcome ). I'm also curious to see how Rin died and how Obito found out as well as his reaction. Just don't die, Tsunade! Please DO NOT die.

As for Naruto being Hokage, I don't think he will be one right-a-way. I do think his next development is leadership. I do think Sasuke vs. Naruto will provide the answer to that development, since he most likely have to protect Konoha against him.

I feel the same way, but i ask myself how long it will take till we see sakura again and she realizes what happened to tsunade.
Im also not sure what to think about sasuke.
Maybe naruto and sasuke are not going to fight each other.
Maybe sauke helps naruto to defeat
Madara.
Just think of it! If naruto and sasuke fight, its most likely going to happen after madara fight and if naruto was able to defeat madara, sasuke shouldnt be a big deal to defeat because compared with madara sasuke is nothing.

If you're suggesting that Sasuke will help Naruto now, it's unlikely. He went away to a new place (or old place according to Orochimaru). Again, he's going to have a small arc of his own along with Team Taka. Let's not forget Karin hasn't appear yet. Again, it will be weird for her to show after everything is done. Then what was the point of escaping? Right now, he's searching for the truth. I believe that the truth he will find will lead him to find a solution in a bad way.
Naruto and Sasuke WILL fight each other. Mark my words. They will fight to present us audience who is more right with their solutions. Naruto and Sauske's fight must have a reason and the fight for the right solution could be one. Like I said, anything could happen to Sasuke once he finds the truth, and I don't think it will be a good one. He may see the world corrupted and probably wanted to fix it in a wrong way. I think we will find out about Tsunade after the whole battle. I could be wrong. It can happen though.

I don't want Tsunade to die, especially not in that way. But it looks like she might be using the last of her strength to save the rest of the Kages... If she does pass away, who will be Hokage? It feels too early for it to be Naruto as it's his ultimate goal and he still hasn't resolved things with Sasuke.
So Naruto and Bee will be up against Madara, and we're starting to see just what that fan can really do. It looks like it absorbs energy and returns it to the attacker, so Naruto and Bee will have to come up with a way to neutralise it. They're up against the man who defeated the combined strength of the Kages, so Naruto will have to use every ounce of his unpredictable cunning to come out of this alive. Like some people here, I also think the original Naruto is inside Obito's shadow dimension - next time he uses it he'll be in for a nasty surprise.
It looks like we'll get some flashbacks next week, definitely looks like a very old Madara found and revived Obito. Obviously he passed away from extreme old age after he finished training Obito, but we still need to see how the hell he was able to corrupt such a nice guy.
Actually, you can see here (thanks to MS for providing better quality scans ) that there is a real Naruto and KB:
The small panel on the left in the middle of the page shows Naruto standing in front of Kakashi but on the next panel, you see there's another Naruto at the back with Bee. The KB is the one standing in front of Kakashi because when you switch to the next page, Madara says "over there...."
Which referred to real Naruto.
With one problem. Kakashi will either break down from all of this or rise above it. If it's the former, then the alliance is definitely screwed. With a Kage dead, and one possibly following soon (Oonoki), and a General who is also a Kage candidate and also the only one person who can take down one of the enemies being mind-broken, things certainly look very grim....
I'm really wondering about that too. That Naruto is currently in the other dimension makes some sense, actually.
There's something I don't get about that, though... I thought corpses revived by Edo Tensei had the appearance of the person at the time of their death. If Madara died as an old man, how does his corpse look so much younger?
Speaking of Saiken, I really wonder if he knows the Slug Sage (as it's been hinted). Who knows?? As for Naruto, read the top of my post.
Regarding Madara, Kabuto tweaked him around, remember?? the remark Kabuto made about perfecting ET culminated in Madara's current form.
@NS4Life: I'd also like to add that Tsunade's death will also affect Kakashi greatly. But for different reasons. We know he will break down from all this. But with Tsunade dead, Kakashi will be forced to make a decision. Will he rise above the fact that his best friend has been turned into a monster of unspeakable terror and lead his people as Hokage, or will he continue wallowing in self-pity and guilt??
This will be the final development for Kakashi.
I also have a bit of a farfetched scenario, but it's very plausible. Obito's true goal is likely a perfect world he created and to live together in it with a revived Rin. Obito even hesitated when Madara asked him why he was revived through ET. This means his plan wasn't to revive Madara, but to revive Rin. He was planning to double-cross him from the beginning. Now, with Madara revived, this puts a wrench in his plans. In order to prevent him from knowing, Obito is going to have to get rid of him.
So I think Obito will form a very short truce with the protagonists. He'll tell Kakashi that his own original plan was to revive Rin and live with her in the new world he created. But he wants Madara out of the way for that to happen. He wants to pull a "let's you and me fight him" scenario with Kakashi against Madara. He'll also say that if Kakashi wants to, they can still try beating him to stop his plans.
I must be the only one who actually wants to see Kakashi & Obito teaming up to fight Madara. After all, they're probably the only 2 people who has a shot at defeating him.
As for a NS scenario, if Obito tells his original plan to Naruto & Sakura, I could see Naruto telling him off that his plan is so goddamn selfish. But Obito fires back with "well then, what would you do if I (points to Sakura) took her away from you forever??" this will leave him speechless like that time with Pain. Sakura will also be horrified as she realizes that Obito is exactly what Naruto will become if he lost her.
Then this happens:
Sakura: *speechless*.....
Naruto: I.... I....
Sakura: *looks down* * then looks up with a glare at Obito and goes over to Naruto*
Naruto: Sakura-chan??
Sakura: *punches Naruto to the ground*
Naruto: What was that for!!??
Sakura: You were seriously thinking about it, weren't you?? you actually considered doing the same thing, right??!!
Naruto: .......
Sakura: Well, let me tell you this; I will never, never, EVER forgive you in a MILLION years if you did that!!! EVER!!! YOU HEAR ME!!???
Naruto: *jawdrop*
Sakura: And so does Rin-san!!! I know for a fact she will never forgive you for that!!!
I think that once Sakura says that last line, he'll start seeing Rin inside her. He might become angrier at her because of how similar she is to Rin that he decides to kidnap her to use for ET and revive Rin with it. It would make sense since this will finally make Obito a hateable villain in Naruto's eyes.

But just think about if naruto defeats madara and then he has to fight sasuke. I cant imagine that this would be hard for naruto to win if he already defeated madara whos much stronger then sasuke

true but naruto wouldn't be the one to defeat madar alone if he ever does and besides we all now that sasuke and madara are different to naruto, sasuke has an emotional grip on him,and madara wants destruction.naruto understands sasuke ,hell,he even saidthat he would die with him so it's different

Yes thats also true but he said if they really fight that both are going to die and i cant imagine naruto dieing in the end so that could also mean that they are not going to fight.
Just imagine sakuras reaction if she finds out that both of them died fighting each other

Plus that Panels shows Tsunade want to see Naruto become a fine Hokage, why take that away?
If Kishi find the way to save Tsunade I will become one of his fan in NF, I'm still not over Jiraiya's death and trust me when I say, I want to believe that he is not dead since Kabuto could not find his body, I'm still in denial refusing to believe he is dead.
Having a character cheat death numerous times is almost an inevitable factor for them to die. Refer to Charlie on Lost.
She never said she wanted to see him become Hokage (as it seems most Hokages don't retire before a new one comes into place, thry usually die). She has complete faith in him that he will become the Hokage one day, she doesn't need to see it.
I didn't want Jiraiya to die either, but it was essential for Naruto to empathize with Sasuke's pain.

Glad that was cleared up, I couldn't for the life of me figure out why Naruto would've let this whole fight to a Shadow Clone.
