Hey, if he did that, that would be spoiling too much wouldn't it?? and besides, I think he might've done this on purpose considering Sakura isn't a very popular character in Japan as of lately. In order to get the people interested, he had to feature the more popular characters that would rake in more viewers.

The SS stuff might be Kishi pandering to them so that they'd be interested. However, on the other hand, while NS seems to be more popular, it seems to me that SS and NH seems to be more marketable, at least. That's my 2 cents on the matter anyways. Also, this isn't the last of the trailers. Tomorrow is the last of the trailers and will 90 secs long. So, be patient.

Lastly, people really need to stop whining. We should keep a healthy dose of expectations so that we don't end up disappointed. I know you guys are hungry for NS moments, but seriously guys have a little faith. Judging by the stuff and info shown so far, things are definitely working into our favour.

Sorry don't agree, if they cared about market, wouldn't they be doing narusaku in the trailer? i mean if ns is more popular in japan, it would be bad marketing to put other less popular paring in the movie, but you never know....

Okay, now I saw the newest trailer. My thoughts:

Well, it's more of comparison to first 15 seconds narration to what's going to happen in the film. Basically, Naruto explained that his family were killed for him to carry their names. Now, in a new world, they're alive. It's time for Naruto to let go. He will experience a life with family. After that, he has to move on before the genjutsu will get the best of him, or else Kyuubi will be extracted. To be honest, not much was shown. It just gives you the idea that Naruto's family is alive and well. One thing I like to comment. Anyone catch the mountain of Kages? Fourth Hokage is NOT Minato, but it's Sakura's dad. That said how did Naruto got that coat? Did he steal it or ask for it? I think this could be a good sign.

Overall, if this is the last trailer, then they sure kept the movie hidden. I give them credit to keep us wanting much more. I hope we get more scene soon. By the way, that most likely Madara/Tobi in that mask. I remember the track list saying something about them. So I am going with that.

Well, if you ask me, they only show HOW opposite they are. It's not like the trailer is showing a long clip of Sasuke and Sakura getting together. They speed thru to show you that Sasuke is there as a shock as well as other personalities has changed. The main theme of this trailer is that they're in AU yet Naruto don't want to let go because it seems this is one time he can live as family, hence picture book.

why does naruto have minato's jacket, with fourth hokage kanji on it's back? is he becoming the fourth hokage in the au world? And was this the final trailer? wasn't it supposed to be released tomorrow? And see how i was right? sakura called au sasuke sasuke- KUN.That's surprising. My theory was right, SS also has development, negative development, but it doesn't have to be positive. The old scenario with the guy who treats the girls and she comes back for him seems to apply here. I just hope Sakura doesn't love real sasuke, that she just was surprised with au sauske actions and the kun was because she thinks they are friends. and thank god she wasn't blushing!!

I heard that Sakura is a hero in this 'konoha'
So maybe, it's Kizashi who sealed kyuubi (or anything) in the Sakura's body so his daughter would be considered as a hero of the village, like Minato's wish for Naruto when he sealed kyuubi within Naruto's body.
There's no Kizashi or Mebuki in the trailer yet, maybe they already dead? Like MinaKushi in the manga world?

I just hope that her plot in this movie doesn't just revolve around Sasuke. I'll be disappointed if Sakura doesn't at least once interact with Naruto's parents. I truly hope that her purpose of dealing with this charming Sasuke is for her to realize that Naruto is more important to her, whether it implies something romantic or not.

That already happened at the start of part 2, and go reread part 2 from 245 onward, and especially what Sai says to Naruto in 474- that Sakura was ONLY thinking of Naruto, that EVERYTHING that she was doing was for his sake.... Geeze folks... quit panicing over nothing....

Yep. Told you he was faker. He's a creepy stalker faking liking Sakura. Sakura is freaking out inside about creepy stalker sasuke. I'm glad she is still calling him "Sasuke kun" that's just habit, shows the creepy stalker stuff doesn't have the effect Madara was hoping for.

And Sakura is still quite popular in Japan. Japan is not the US.

What Codus said didn't make sense to me either but I will let it slide, and about Narusaku to be honest with you I can look at this movie with zero NaruSaku moment, just give more Naruto and Sakura friendship with no other pairing and I be happy, I'm more of a fan of the deep trust and concern between them.

That's how I really enjoy NaruSaku even in fanfiction.
Whenever and Author in FF.net write a story and Naruto and Sakura start of as lovers in chapter one I normally walk away from the story, the only time I might read it, if the story is a one shot.

Since I have already explained myself I need more Sakura team in up with Naruto and more Naruto thinking about Sakura, I want Sakura to be Naruto hero in this movie. Something that gives her her glory days when she were among the 5 most popular characters in Naruto.

By the way, was it completely confirmed that in that blog which we talked about a while ago there was a mention of the voice actors teasing about narusaku in Road to Ninja. I remember that the Uzumaki Sakura stickers were addressed but I wasn't completely sure about any mention of the movie.

no, the sticker is from one of the fans, a big narusaku fans. It's written in someone blog (nejihina shipper)

That wouldn't make any sense if sakura had the kyubii i mean for starters we don't know if there are au sakura and naruto, and there would have to exist an au kyuubi and i don't think tobi or whoever casted the genjitsu could emulate a huge mass of chakra like a bijuu.

DUNNO why sakura would be a hero but.... meh, being just a jinchuriki doesn't make you a hero among your village, it make you look like a monster. Don't come up with naruto would be a hero if minato was there, because gaara also had his father there, a kazekage, and he still was bashed

Exactly. I think she is in pure denial. If you honestly saw things as it is, Hinata is currently more popular. Proof?? the latest character poll places her above Sakura, like it or not. That's a fact. Pure and simple. But does that deter me? NO. I may not like it, but that doesn't I'm giving up on Sakura.

I'm willing to accept it, in fact. But that's it. So what?? just because she's more popular doesn't mean NH is more likely. But it does show that in terms of marketability, that pairing is easier to milk out of.

EDIT: Nevermind, I think I know why now. The reason why they showed the SS/NH scenes is because people are actually more interested in the AU characters rather than NS themselves since they're normal. But my point regarding Sakura stands. It's because she's recently falling deep in the rankings. So that's why they're not playing up her role in the trailers too much.

Anyways, my point was that NH is probably more marketable because it appeals more to the anime-only fans. So I'm guessing why there weren't any scenes with Naruto and Sakura might be that it's not "interesting" enough to market to the masses. I'm guessing that they're not just trying to target the manga readers but also the anime-only watchers. That's why they're playing up the SS/NH. I dunno, it's kinda confusing to me too. But really guys, relax... we will get our NS moments, don't worry. Just be patient and don't freak out.

If this translation:

is real, I think Sasuke is there to keep Sakura busy. *of course, I always assumed he was there to keep her busy*

At first, I was thinking Sasuke is acting like that because he's working with Madara to capture her since she would have the bijuu sealed in her -not really though-. It's all a trick to catch Sakura. But it's all a genjutsu, so I don't see the point in Madara doing it that way.


As for no NS in the trailers yet, I feel that if there are a few NS moments, then they'll probably be very relevant to the plot and showing it off would be too much of a spoiler. For example, some people want to see Naruto and Sakura coming together and denying the AU Sasuke and Hinata, do you really think they'd show that in a trailer? Trailers are meant to be teasers, things they want you to know about before you head into the movie.

They want you to know that Sasuke will be all over Sakura and that Hinata will be a yandere apparently. What they want you to guess is what their real reactions to they AU's will be, and what conclusion Naruto and Sakura will come to at the end of it all.

Just my assumption though.

I still don't think AU people are going to be the main spotlight (maybe for us, yeah). But more and more I started to notice that they're there for comedy purpose and perhaps here and there shares little thoughts. The main driving force will be getting out of genjutsu and Naruto's family. Naruto is going to have a problem because this is one time that he can live happy with a family. Unfortunately for him, it's a fake world created by a villain. He's going to have a development here because Kishi already stated that he wants Naruto to enjoy a "happy" life and to do so, a genjutsu is possible. One thing I want to know, if he dies there, does that means Naruto is now eligible to be extracted in the real world?

One more comment: unless Kishi messed up, Naruto is wearing 4th hokage jacket. When I say mess up, I mean the numbering. Then again, Minato is not a hokage at all. So, does that mean he will interact with Sakura's dad. He is the 4th hokage in the AU world. This trailer really did a good job on hiding the good stuff. Something tells me that we shouldn't worry at all now. By the way, I have a feeling Akatsuki is only in the beginning to distract Konoha, so Tobi can get his hand on Naruto. Too bad for him, Sakura intervene. Man, the possibilities are endless.

And yes, the interview was confirmed long time ago. NaruSaku may not the most popular pairing, but it's sure is increasing, hence the surprise reaction according to the blogger.
