I wonder what the odds of that being a trainwreck are. Modern Warfare 2 had it's share of criticism as it was. Now, there isn't really much left of Infinity Ward.

I suppose that depends on how you view the franchise and the installments Infinity Ward didn't do. Frankly, I'm not enamored with any of them, so I don't expect a lot of improvement. I'm just here for the Zombies. Which is not a mode MW uses, so I'm probably not going to bother anyway.

So yeah... Cant wait for Mass Effect 3! Too bad they pushed it back to early 2012. But it means they are actually working hard on it. I am hoping it is worth the wait. The Trailer makes it look like a kill'astic time. So much Sniper fun I hope!.

They're not on the PS3. Therefore, I cannot play them. I'm not getting them on the 360, because that would mean buying Live Gold just to play it.

I'm considering buying L4D on Steam. Since the PC community seems to be a lot gamer friendly... free maps, etc. I'll get to it eventually.

Yea, I was pretty sad to hear they pushed it back. I'm hoping they're not attempting something stupid...like trying to add multiplayer. It was probably just a marketing decision though. Alot of anticipated releases are happening the end of this year.

I didn't have any problems hitting anything with the sniper rifles on the ps3... I wish they had a higher sensitivity though. The targeting reticle moves so slow on the consoles even on max.

Valve's games almost always get free updates. The only reason they're charged for on the 360 is because Microsoft forces them to charge.

If don't have an PS3 why don't you just play it on your PC/laptop? Left 4 Dead It's not an very demanding game anyway.

My point Exactly - the fact that you play on PS3 means you probably have a semi-good PC and with Free Steam You will be able to buy/play a good chunk of games. (just wish i could find my CD key for my L4D game...)

PS3 I found that I am better at the controller then a Xbox Controller. Which is amzing considering I knew did FPS on PS3 until Black Ops.

I still find it stupid you have to pay for XBox Live, I would rather pay for Netflix or A older game on Steam.

Another good game is Civ5.

Mass Effect 3 I hope is going to be epic and either the final or second to last installment. I really wanna know MORE about the background of these creatures. And I swear if one more person DOESN'T believe me: The hero of both the Citadel and the Hero who went through the Omega-4 Relay plus came back. I am just going to drink and Dance most of the game because in Mass Effect it was so obvious. I mean back when Saren was going rogue, they didnt believe us, when the attack was coming they didn't believe us now If the same happens it probably will be:

Good news for Xbox owners

Xbox Live Spring update news!

Xbox Live Spring update:

Even before that new app smell has worn off from Hulu Plus, Microsoft will launch its annual spring update for the Xbox 360 Dashboard. Images sent to Joystiq by a Microsoft tech support employee reveal that the next Dashboard update will begin rolling out on May 19.According to the documents, the update will be distributed in six separate waves between May 19 and May 30 "to ensure a high quality deployment." Additionally, while not technically part of the automatic update, Avatar Kinect is listed for a May 27 arrival as a separate download.

Aside from offering support for the new Microsoft disc format -- which will "be used in future game titles releasing later in 2011" -- the spring system update will enable PayPal support on the console, extending the payment option "to new international markets." PayPal will be "the only user facing feature" of the update.

Microsoft had yet to respond to request for comment as of publishing.

Can't wait for the updates and Xbox Labs to open up for the new disc format test.

You know...although I'm happy to see such a promising line-up of games for the end of the year this is getting a little ridiculous. Skyrim, Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3, Modern Warfare 3, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, they're all slated to come out in November. Tales of Graces F is supposed to come out within a month of those titles as well for JRPG fans. FFXIII-2 is supposed to be out too...

Even for the Christmas season that's a huge list of anticipated titles. Honestly, it's just bad marketing grouping them together like that...
