[Born from a NaruSaku Lemon]

I notice that recently there are quite a few betrayal fics in the NaruSaku section of FF.net. And while I know some people like those types of fics, there are those, like me, who don't. Hopefully this thread will help warn others about fics that include betrayal or something equally bad.

A fic I'd like to put on here is Seeking Freedom by Raphael Fitchburne.

Don't get me wrong, the story has great grammer and was interesting, I even liked it at first but

Then it turns out that even though Sakura showed feelings for Naruto she had sex with Sasuke, and Naruto caught them. Apparently though, they noticed he caught them and sealed their memories so as to not ruin the mission i believe.

Though because the story is still going, and the author has stated a way someone has used a strong genjutsu to make other believe something happened, it might not be the case. For now though, I'm just advising others to tread lightly with this fic.

Yeah, I understand where you're coming from.

It's so disappointing to see a good story get ruined by an implausible plot device, be it sex or crazy jutsu or something else altogether. It's hard to keep reading after one of those comes into play.

Thanks for the recommendation - I'll steer clear of that story, thankyouverymuch.

Yeah it's a shame when a good NaruSaku story has betrayal in the story, then it's definitely not worth reading.

Yeah I hate it when that happens and I look at the reviews sometimes people mention those things.

Turns out that Seeking freedom wasn't so bad. In the newest chapter, it was revealed that nothing really happened. I

guess I should have waited before posting this, seeing as how the story had just started. Though this is the first time I've seen this happen, and the author had made the previous chapters in a way that everyone who knew about it assumed it had really happened.

i don't know. so far it seems that it was all a misunderstanding. if u want to read a drama story then that story seems to deliver. i'm still gonna tread lightly with the fic though. but it doesn't seem so bad anymore.

Still, some fanfics could use a warning. We had a thread similar to this before, but there can be a fine line between warning about fanfics that promise NaruSaku, but have some squicky elements and bashing and I think that the thread wandered a bit past that line.

Alright, so this time I doubt there is a mistake with this story.

The story once again has good grammar, and the plot seems thought out. Betrayal isn't as obvious in this story but

Sakura is pregnant and doesn't know who the father is since she's been sleeping with three different guys at the same time. She's taken Naruto for granted in a sense and now turns to him not knowing what to do. he's hurt but doesn't show it too much.

The story might be good for those that can look past this but I'm one whose put off by this sort of thing. Active intimacy is one thing, as is pregnancy, but making the character be with three people at once and then turn to Naruto in the end is something completely different.

I guess the author likes to put N/S angts in his stories I have try it already if you have read the first chapters of my story "am I worthy to love you."

Even though it hasn't happened in one story it still happens in others. how many times Have I been put out because of something like that, my fingers may be enough to count them but that doesn't mean it amuses me,oh no... So I agree with Born From a NaruSaku Lemon a warning would be nice.... Heck I remember putting a warning in my fic saying that a mystery character that appeared in the fourth chapter wasn't an O.C. (it Was Kushina for those who don't remember). But back on topic, cliffhangers and plot twists are nice for a story and some bad stuff happening around makes it interesting, but writers should start giving some heads up about a tiny bit of their work so if they write something that might upset us we can at least skip it or spare the torment of having to read it.
