Watch the dub for Road to Ninja and skip through certain parts of the dub for The Last and you 'lol see what he means. I could tell Kate Higgins wasn't giving it her all in here than RTN you just got pay attention to it.

Agreed. RTN's dub sounds very natural. The Last's sounds like the va's were just in it for a paycheck.
It'll be interesting to see what the Boruto movie's dub sounds like.

I noticed that in the last, all the colors were muted a lot. Compared to other movies, with a whole bunch of bright color and scenery, most scenes took place at night or underground.
Anyway, I got a question, before the last, was it ever showed that it snowed in Konoha?

yes it was snowy in the land of iron arc. it's been snowy in konoha before. ANYWAY, i could tell the english VAs' just weren't into the movie at all lol. i could mostly tell with kate higgins her sakura voice seemed bored and forced more than energized like usual lol...maybe she was a little tired/bored since it was a boring movie LOL but, most of all i like to think she just HATED the movie lol

I bet the Last will be in Kate Higgins' Tvtropes Old Shame page.
It's a bit depressing tbh. I love her as a voice actor, I think she's really talented. But Naruto was her big role and now she's getting shafted. She's still getting roles like Tails and Lisse from Fire Emblem but nothing really as big as Naruto.
It's like a complete mirror of Sakura's Japanese voice actor to be honest. Funny how these things play out.

i want to vent again.
anyone who thinks they like this movie are lying to themselves or are 12 year olds who are like "how to I literature?"
this movie destroyed everything, from characters to story, its no wonder people wish this was IT or mugen tsukuyomi because everything is just wrong! everyone looks fugly! naruto looks like such an kitten, his the worst kind of scumbag you'd ever have the displeasure to look at, hinata is the most boring and blander than bread. the fact that these kids are supposed to surpass their parents is laughable yet tells me the audience wasted their time. oro running scott free is reason enough alone to tell you naruto's generation FAILED. they failed. they're still training kids to be ninja whom to which they treat it as a freaking game and at the same time there's no need for a hokage! kishi boxed this all in, he tried having it both ways to the point its a paradox in and of itself.

I just never understood the timing of it. I guess she just felt like it. It's not an anniversary, it's not a special day, it's not Naruto 20th birthday, it's not a milestone. It's just a day.

To confirm my suspicious vibes about the voice acting from The Last, a friend from college who loves Sakura a lot (The real sakura) like us and he instantly told me to quickly to the road to ninja dub to hear Sakura's dub voice there, and even he could tell that Kate Higgins performance was very bland compared in The Last than in RTN. He said Kate feels she gave it her all in RTN and felt bored voicing Sakura in The Last.

even a professional voice actor thought the movie was bad, yet people say the movie is still good why? can they still not comprehend that its supposed to be a canon movie and does everything wrong? wait no that's right they think its a good movie just because its hinata and naruto getting together

Kind of like Matthew Broderick hating Godzilla or Chevy Chase hating Caddyshack II or Everyone hating the Star Wars Holiday Special.
