the whole faint love no crush thing is such utter and complete BS.

 

We are lead to believe that someone with a mere crush based on the most selfish of reasons was fighting so hard for her that he was crawling on his chin wiling to die from exhaustion just to stop gaara from killing her.

 

We are lead to believe that someone with a mere crush would make a Promise ON HIS LIFE, to bring back the rival for her affections.

 

that mere crush recognized by multiple people in the manga was never something more.

I heard this movie tried to make Sakura look bad, can anyone give me info on that?

 

She was reduced to a support character. There was a commercial with her whining about not being a main character, which led to many Japanese fans concluding that Studio Perriot hates Sakura.

Can you PLEASE tell me what was Sakura's role in the movie, i know she supported hinata but did she get any fight scenes and did she play a big role when rescuing hanabi, thanks in advance.

Sakura is throughout the movie something like Hinata’s moral support? She tries to convince Hinata to just give the scarf, that Naruto will understand her feelings. She is working as a matchmaker btween the two of them.(which in the beginning of the movie doesn’t really work)

She has a few fightscenes, but nothing big. Everytime there was one you would see her storm in to fight but then the image cut to either Hinata in Toneri’s castle, or something else. After that you would only see the result of the fight, she won, or there were some enemies left but the team decided to run. She does kill a giant crab creature with one punch,but that’s it.

Sakura does save Naruto when he’s lost a severe amount of chakra becauseof Toneri. She treats him for three days straight, which results in her eventually collapsing from fatigue.

She and Sai went to rescue Hanabi, so you could say she was one of the most important characters there, Alo because she probably used some medical jutsu in order to keep Hanabi’s health in check. 

So Sakura was part of the more important characters in this movie, but to me she didn’t really got to shine, she did not get her moment.

I've called BS on that, that report is suggesting that the movie in 15 hours (less if you consider most cinema's didn't open till 9am so six hous) managed to make around 70% of the highest grossing opening weekend in Japanese history. So with another 33 hours left the movie should be demolishing the record held by Star Wars Episode 3.

 

The truth likely was 147 Million and somebody made a typo somewhere.

It's too late for them to rebound. Bolt- The Movie will come out next year with a Part 3 T_T

As for the japanese fans' comments, I cannot make an objective judgement on it unless I see those 2ch threads myself and even if I clicked on that link, I know jack squat about Japanese to be convinced of those general opinions to be true.

They even made Hanabi be OOC with Hinata!

Ok, OOC might be the wrong description.

But the episodes deviated from the impression you had from the teasers. I wanted it to focus on their relationship. Turns out , it's Hanabi's admiration for her sister. Disappointing as hell.
