So after 10 chapters, my opinion:
PHEW, that was totally not as bad as AOT, totally not  :lmao:
Drawing stile - it's medicore in the beggining, apart of scenes like Kaneki tried to do sepuku, lol, there is other drawing style
Fast beggining - 10 chapters of introducing is very rare for a shonen-like story, good.
Characters - Kaneki - MC... rare one I could say, author really pictured a normal student, not a "normal japanese student" as in 99% of stories right now, but more realistic one, who feels and interacts in story as one would think himself would react to situations like those.
Touka - for 9 chapters, I really disliked her character, that haircut, that attitude towards a Kaneki, but in chapter 10, that smile, and that saving of Kaneki and his friend, changed my opinion to neutural.
What I don't like - well, thus far - nothnig bad in here... Wait, in chapter 10 Kaneki because really dumb "What meat? Why they can't hunt" -___- that was not good. But overall, I can see potential that people like this manga for.

It's not shonen.....it's seinen..

Tokyo Ghoul is so much better than AoT, it really isn't even close.

Their both good to me, jusg Tokyo Ghoul is a bit more relatable compare to AOT

It doesn't help that AoT comes out once a month. Not just that, but I didn't really like historia, and the last year has been all about her. It's been annoying really.

I don't know but I like to think how that one post thought: a good trinity of FMA, AoT, and TG. Though TG does have a funny startup out of all of them since Kaneki just want to date. Lol.

the monthly thing doesn't bother me and I didn't care much for Historia so I was like meh during her arc but hey they started to fix the system unlike some other shows..xD

That's also my major problem with AoT. I thought it's the monthly release schedule that ruins my entertainment with AoT, but I still love Noragami to death, and that one is monthly, too... Characters are hard to relate to and feel a bit soulless to me despite all the interesting revelations we've gotten as of lately.

Sometimes I always feel like they have to be anime characters to get closer rather than being human. Isn't that ironic.

 

I feel like buying the calendar for this series.
