A lot of mangaka usually just leave some things behind as in one time deal like not needed alas straight-forward. It's just that a minor detail is rarely return. It's like what I said in my latest post: Ishida always do this with a reason. That includes the whole Yoriko and Koraiwa scene.

Yeah, I love that about Ishida. He plans and HINTS ahead many chapters before. Only problem is of course that you need to do your reserach yourself as a fan to realize the effort Ishida has put in (that's why it's always good to discuss Tokyo Ghoul on forums).

My best guess is next arc. This one is about Shuu. There's a lot of keynotes for the next arc already in this chapter and past one, such as Ayato wanting to save Hinami, which she has a countdown. Next arc. In the meantime, it's time for Shuu to come back.

I don't know... I think she will become relevant again when Hinami is about to be executed. There's just no way that Touka will not come in to save her. In addition to this, it's me wishfully hoping for her brother and her to work together U_U

I honestly think this will happen. Maybe not soon, but it will happen. I would bet Hinami would help that or rather push it, because my gut feeling is that Ayato will leave Aogiri since he has one more strike and they will kill him. Ayato just can't let that slide. I feel like the group of :re is going to get expanded as they could be their own group. I mean Kaneki did one but he is doing it secretly and he didn't have enough manpower. With the new group, Hinami, Ayato, Nishiki, Yomo, Touka, and well, I actually would like Sasaki and others come in (how? No idea at this time) join in, I think that's one hell of a group.

I was coming to the same conclusion while thinking about it, and to be far it does make alot of sense from a storytelling perspective. Man waiting for the next chapter is going to drive me nuts because of how chapter 37 ended. Plus I get the feeling that Shuu will probably be the center focus of the cover for Volume 4.

Ayato leaving Aogiri Tree will certainly take an interesting turn in terms of storytelling. Plus in terms of Hinami's execution Arc (once it comes) it's going to be the true deciding factor of who is going to be around between Sasaki and Kaneki because I still remember Kaneki saying only one us will be able to stay while the other disappears. I'm getting this feeling that Sasaki is gonna head to the Coffee Shop where Touka is and that's where he reveals to her what's going to happen with Hinami plus it'll be an interesting way to see Touka's take on Sasaki/Kaneki and feel something once the moment arrives where either Sasaki or Kaneki remains as the soul vessel of the body.

Well, the manga is going in the direction that Kaneki remembers who he is, Haise is just a personality that doesn't remember, but is getting closer. It's bound to happen sooner or later.
