Tokyo Ghoul:re Chapter 31.5 Spoiler Summary

- It’s Christmas. Saiko is decorating the Christmas Tree.
- Suzuya and Abara are visiting.

Suzuya: Trick or Treat?
Sasaki: Huh…?

- Arima and Akira are visiting, too.
- Uta visits :re Cafe.

Uta: He is the same as usual.
Yomo: …Uta.
Yomo: Those “Clowns”, what are they thinking? Ken… What are they planning to do with him?
Uta: No idea… Boss and I don’t get it either.
Uta: What about you guys? Are you going to wait for Kaneki-Kun? Or—

- It seems that Sasaki received Kaneki’s Mask and a package with a book. It’s written “Happy Birthday, Kaneki Ken-San” on it.
- There’s also an unfamiliar guy. WHO IS HE? (HIDE???)

- Little Kaneki appears again.

- Haise got his old mask back again and a book for present,  the book is Hanged Man Mcguffin that Eto signed for him,  i think that the book is the one Hide got signed, not Hinami. (Since two different people asked Eto for a copy signed for Kaneki.)

- Arima and Akira appears.

- It’s Christmas.

Kuramoto is talking about Arima.

Wild rumors about Arima from Kuramoto:

• Take claims he once beat up a ghoul using an umbrella like IXA.
• He takes short naps while fighting Ghouls

:re chapter 31.5 new info

-They talk about Arima-san.

-Kuramoto(?) asks Haise to talk about “that”, it being “the time when Arima fought a ghoul with an umbrella instead of IXA”. Haise says “Even if it’s Arima-san, that would be a little bit too..” Kuramoto says he heard about it from Take.

-Haise says that if it’s stories about Arima’s dorky/confused times, there’s terribly many. Apparently when ghouls see him, they faint and are taken to Cochlea just like that. Arima also once dozed off in presence of enemy, during a fight.

-Juuzou chimes in that during the Mole Mince mission, Arima fell asleep for a few seconds during battle. Since he had to be awake for a long time during the underground mission.

Yomo: Uta… the Clowns, what are they planning? What do they want to do with Ken?

Uta: I don’t know about what Boss is thinking either.

Uta asks her if she's gonna visit Kaneki, and I think that line "I'm just gonna continue with what I've decided on" line is a response to that. Either that means she wants to continue watching over him from a distance, or, the bad interpretation, she's moved on :/

Oh, I see. I'm betting on the first one, but we'll just have to wait and see.

EDIT: She looks genuinely happy in that moment she's saying the line though. It's nice to see her smiling... It's refreshing.
