Man Tokyo Ghoul re has been making me super nervous ever since Seidou's return in Chapter 20 like Idk how to express it. I mean I was always looking forward to the chapters after I finished the original series and caught up to re at the time, but now it's just Ishida can take it in any direction that he wants to. Regardless of which one it is I know he'll do an amazing job as he's been doing already, but you all know what to expect so I won't say much. This is going to be the chapter that most people are going to remember, and that's going to be the best thing when it comes to the fandom.

Okay so thinking over it, I guess I got what’s going on.

Amon and Kurona attacked the fleeing Aogiri members, which were cannibalized on.

Amon is standing farther away and goes “…”. The fallen person is murmuring about Floppy. Kurona is feeding, but it’s taking too long? To which Amon goes “…Yasuhisa.” As in, stop already.

As for why the kanji is different (恭久 -> 安久), I remembered the explanation from when Kaneki was looking for “Kamishiro Rize”. Ghouls don’t usually change their names completely when they’re found out or moving, they just change the writing (Kaneki was advised that ‘Kamishiro Rize’ with the spelling he knows doesn’t exist). So that’s why, Kuro’s spelling changed (”new identity”).

As for Amon, he’s not explicitly confirmed to cannibalize (Kurona is definitely), but it’s pretty likely he eats ghouls as well. If you notice the page, there’s a blood-like stain on his face as well, so he probably feasted as well.

Also, I suppose this confirms that Nashiro didn’t survive (if both sisters were with Amon, him calling them both by their surname would get confusing).
