A friend of mine is over in Japan visiting family, and he went to the city that's basically anime central. I had asked him to buy me a Luffy straw hat and Id pay him when he got back. He sent me a Facebook message a while ago saying he had bought it, and that it cost 22000 yen. I did the calculations and almost shat myself, 22000 yen is 184 dollars!

I damn near had a heart attack, I was thinking that the hat had better come straight off of Luffy's head for me to be paying damn near 200 bucks for a straw hat. He looked at the receipt again and said he misread, it was 2200 yen, so twenty bucks. Phew.

Chapter 29

Oh wow... Ok, let's get the most important thing out of the way: Yes, Kaneki isn't back (I'm sure many are disappointed), but to me Hinami rescuing her oni-chan is just as good. I'm sure that Kaneki will come back during the Hinami vs Seidou fight. It'll just built up more tension. In the meantime, let's be glad that we get to see Hinami going full in!

I liked that Urie and Mutsuki moment. It was touching to me. I hope that from now on, Urie will open up to his squad more (and show Sasaki the respect he ought to be showing towards his superior). I'm pretty sure he won't tell anyone though that Mutsuki is a woman... Dunno if the two of them will share some quality time in the future.

No kidding: That Juuzou entrance was cool XD Payback time for his Big Madam (who just grosses me out to no end).

As expected, Matsuri Washuu uses Sasaki -.- But Sasaki's screams lowered the morale of many investigators. Speaking of investigators: Akira is prob running of to where Sasaki and Seidou are, to find Hinami... Oh,oh, Ishida is setting up such an intense fight >.< And Saiko gets to witness everything firsthand.

Ok, one last thing: I personally had to read the chapter twice to understand what was going on. Ishida needs to work on his drawing skills, in particular the fighting scenes. I have problems to identify what is going on. I know he improved a lot, but still.

Ugh, I actually do feel really sorry for Urie, even though he's still kind of a jackass. I love how even though Mutsuki was weak as kitten, he was still trying to give it his all and save Urie. Tooru hugging him after he got stabbed by him was touching, and the whole Urie calling him a woman thing didn't really bother me, but I can see why people are criticizing that. I'm so happy that Tooru finally released his kagune, it looks awesome

I'd rather try and forget the part where Big Madam was naked though, like yuck At least Suzuya's squad is there, I've been waiting for his reunion with her.

Saiko-chan   She has no idea of what to do in that situation, and it's just freaking terrible. But, kitten yes at Hinami saving her big brother though! She looks so grown and badass now. Slay Queen  

Next week is gonna be even more of a sh*tstorm, and I am completely here for it

Hopefully Hinami actually says something to Kaneki, that would be cool. Lol Urie is the worst, that guy is so selfish and single minded. I'm actually enjoying seeing him get his ass whooped. Mutsuki watches. Again..

I love the ending though, especially the one note at the end "Because she heard the voice"

I finally read it. Something tells me Ishida didn't show Saiko's fight because he's saving it for this. kittening a, I'm getting two ladies kicking ass soon.

So honestly, I'm not sure what gonna happen during a fight, it might be Akira and Hinami vs Seido, or a free for all. I think Akira will take note of Hinami protecting Kaneki and be ok with it. But then again, Hinami is Aogiri, if she interferes with Seido, will she be able to go back? Or will she go to :re?

Lol, at most, I think Hinami will see Akira's Quinque, and just give her a look like "I'm a deal with your ass later, but big brother comes first" or something like that. If Hinami does end up going back to :re, it'll be one big family reunion
I think it's weird how Seidou refers to Hinami as "Hina-chan" tho. I'm guessing they've actually worked together before?
