Hmm, good question. Well, surely, there will be some focus on one of the Quinx members. In this arc, it's Mutsuki. Maybe it'll be Urie or Saiko in the next arc.

Tokyo Ghoul:re Chapter 25 Random Thoughts

Are you hyped? Because I am!  (ノ＞▽＜。)ノ

Seidou

I’m still trying to figure out if Seidou is sane or insane… And I still can’t quite make up my mind. He has his memory intact. He can communicate with people just fine. He knows what he is doing… But his behavior is far from being sane. His insanity is different from when Kaneki loses his mind and starts talking like he was possessed. Compare to that, Seidou looks more like a crazed serial killer who enjoys being insane. ( ￣ -  ￣;;; )

One interesting comment Seidou made is that he is used to being impaled/injured, which suggests that he has probably been tortured to the point of losing his sense of pain (just like Kaneki after he was tortured by Yamori), or that he has many fighting experiences, so injury is no longer a concern. This is very likely considering how strong he is compared to Kaneki in the beginning.

I must say that Seidou has been a constant surprise ever since his appearance, and his fight with Sasaki doesn’t disappoint. I wonder what he’s about to talk with Sasaki. I also wonder how much Eto has told him about Sasaki.

Matsuri

Well, it’s no surprise that he would leave Sasaki alone to fight Seidou. In a way, it might not be a bad idea because I don’t think Shirazu and the rest can help much against Seidou, and if Sasaki ever gets berserk, he wouldn’t accidentally harm anyone else.

Interestingly, Matsuri shows some anger over Ato’s death, which can be interpreted as…

1) Contrary to what was shown so far, he actually cares for his subordinates.
2) He’s just angry for losing a valued pawn which messed up his strategy.
3) A mixed of both.

Shirazu & Saiko

Saiko doesn’t show any surprise over Sasaki’s Kagune, so I wonder if she already knew. Actually, I’m kinda disappointed for the lack of Saiko’s reaction. She doesn’t show any kind of surprise or worry for Sasaki, which I thought is odd considering how close they are.

Still, Sasaki asks Shirazu to take care of Saiko is just… D’wwww ;u;

Suzuya, Urie & Mutsuki

Suzuya being around is probably the best thing to happen for Urie. It’s a shame that Urie doesn’t appreciate it. XD;;;

Ayato & Naki

Another D’wwww moment. Man, Ayato has matured so much. I’m really liking his character development. I find it hilarious that he ditches his job to save his teammates.

Sasaki VS Seidou

Well, I’m not too worried for Sasaki because we all know his real strength. He still hasn’t bring out “Kaneki” or “Centipede” yet, so the battle has just barely begun.

I wonder how this will go. Will we get to see another out of control Sasaki? Will he get back his memory? Will Amon make an appearance and interfere the battle? The possibility is endless. I’m totally hyped for next week. I hope it’s another Sasaki-centric chapter. It’s been a while since the last we have seen one.

Well, major things are happening here and Sasaki may get closer to his memory here. The early part of this arc foreshadowed that he will be going through changes. I mean he thought about him being "dead" once he gets his memory back and all. I swear, it almost feel like we will get a repeat of last series of him seeing Touka being a ghoul, but that's just me. Anyway, the pieces are there. He saw Touka and Yomo, he thought about reaching to his old memory will do more harm to him than good, not sure if he will stay with CCG for long because of memory, and many key characters are there. Not to mention Touka randomly showed up in the visitor hour. Why?

 

Like One Piece latest arc, this one is a huge one. This is Aogiri Arc big. Things will change the path.

Tokyo Ghoul RE Chapter 25 Notice

I just wanted to put this out there so no one gets worried.

The English tranlated Chapter this week is likely going to come out later than normal

A few weeks ago Imperial scans released a notice letting English reader know that they were having some staffing issues (people are super busy) and that TG:RE might be coming out slightly later than normal throughout April.

They are doing their best to get the chapter out as soon as possible, so please don’t freak out or get angry.

EDIT: Just when it was starting to get really interesting with the auction T_T
