The only thing Touka made Kaneki realise is that he was protecting everyone for his own sake rather than everyone else's because he was afraid of being alone, so she basically just called him selfish.
I've already said all i needed to say in the other thread about her.
I guess you could say that, mainly, y'all are looking for substance and deeper meaning to her actions when there actually isn't one. Yeah, it's Ishida we're talking about, but not everything is that way.
Point is: She. Was. Just. A Teenager. No iluminati to be found. Hence, she did the most typical, but still aggravating thing that came to her mind, when a few minutes ago she'd finished saying to Hide how Kaneki has a place where he belongs, lmao. Bi-polarity at its finest, though i guess you could say it was normal. And, of course, everything she does is forgiven or justified in some way, since she's (somehow) a fan-favourite. I'm guessing her plain stupid statement that Kaneki doesn't belong in any world since he's a half-breed also holds some complex thoughts behind it?
I could honestly analyze every single one of her lines during that freak out and say how it's a massive fail on her part, but i won't. That Touka is hopefully a thing of the past now, so i'm not going to bother responding to anything further.

Oh, and then there is youtube with episode 9 of Root A. Half of the comments ranting at Touka, blabla, and the useless running scenes of her made people call her "useless like Sakura". If people compare Touka to Sakura, you know that a) SP kittened up, and b) people do not understand Touka.
