I think monthly has the quality but the patience is hard. But that's just me.

Dunno, I think it depends. Sometimes the long waiting is worth it, sometimes it isn't.

Imao, just saw Chibi Reviews. Ishida trolled his followers on his twitter page:

"Ishida-sensei the mangaka of Tokyo Ghoul posted on his twitter last night that he will be making a Spinoff of Hunter x Hunter focusing on Hisoka's past. Sadly come to find out hours later that it was a troll from the master of trolls." :lmao:

Well, after what that jerk has done to the fans with the ending in Part 1, this shouldn't be surprising XD

Personally, I like TG a lot more than AoT. The drawing of AoT is just so bad XD

 

Isayama is indeed not that good at drawing bt he got much better with time

 

Anyways with AOT I'm really looking foward to the anime in 2016, that will definitely spike things up for the manga too

I like TG more, too. Dunno about you, but it's hard to feel excited for monthly mangas in my case. I often forget what happened in the precious chapter, but don't feel like rereading it...


Yeah, monthly manga's are much harder to get into.

Wonder if having been a tattoo artist did influence his drawing style in some ways. It's definitely an interesting past he had back then. So he never wanted to become a mangaka first I suppose?

Yeah it did get better, but sometimes the face faults are still terrible XD

I can't wait either!

Wonder if having been a tattoo artist did influence his drawing style in some ways. It's definitely an interesting past he had back then. So he never wanted to become a mangaka first I suppose?

I doubt that he never wanted to be one, Id guess that he became a tattoo artist because he didn't have the connections at first, so he was trying to get by.

...or maybe he wanted to become a mangaka but never had much of a chance till TG? ( Is TG even his first manga anyway?)

I think it is his first manga. Did you read that one-shot that won him that prize? Gosh, I'm glad Kaneki changed! Touka is mostly still the same though XD

I didn't read it, the Kaneki on there was FAR to strange, I couldn't keep interested when he had such a different personality than the one I indentified with him...and that mask  :twitch:
