Ha I knew those bastards were behind it Season 2 was just writing SP all over it, I knew Ishida was innocent because I was questioning how things were being handled in Root A after seeing the genius writing and world structure behind the manga of the series he created. 

 

Comes to show you that SP can screw up with anything even though I've already had my suspciousions after how Naruto turned out and Season 2 of Legend of Korra.

Ugh dafuq with SP. If I ever read any manga I like in the future, I'll send a fan mail saying, "Don't let SP animate it!" How can I calm down the immense amount of hatred I have for them? They ruin and break the hearts of fans.
Sure, I'll post them later. Sadly, I kind of agree with them. I hate this,'girl waits for guy to come back' trope. It sucks when a strong female character suddenly becomes sidelined because she becomes close to the main character and has to wait/trust him. If that were the case, I prefer no pairings at all.

I don't necessarily mind it when I know that they will play an important role and aren't just some side character. Touka will be important, there's no doubt about it, and if there's anyone I trust outside of Oda, it's Ishida. Touka in the hands of Kishi, however, and Id be scared for my life.

Oh, and do yourself the favor and don't watch the anime unless you're really curious. Season 1 is decent at its best, but season 2 is the catastrophe.
