I read the chapter just now and it was a nice chapter, next battles are going to be huge

This is without a doubt one of the arcs with most gore in TG as a whole, that ghoul nutcracker needs to be eliminated ASAP she gives me the creeps

It was discussed extensively on the batoto forums. Ishida's draft is teased in the original PV and you see stuff like conversations between Kaneki and Aogiri members, a completely different raid, etc. And the draft is being made available now. Give it a read.

But the main problem is the episode limitation and Ishida going overboard on the draft. They had to cut corners; and they cut the wrong ones.

 

edit: also, Ishida only wrote the draft. He wasn't involved in the writing of each individual episode

 

 

That draft is only what the anime's twitter posted to show they adapted scenes straight from the draft; the PV showed many others and the actual draft will reveal more. It's partially Ishida's fault for making it too long, but there you go.

I don't have the draft saved on mobile, but right off the top of my head there was a scene where Kaneki had a heart to heart with Tatara and saw himself becoming like Tatara in the future. There was also a talk between Juuzou and Tsukiyama before they fought in what looked like Cochlea. Also the Kanou arc wasn't cut out in the draft; but it was in the final anime.

They also changed Kaneki's personality and made him all emo, in the draft for example we see Kaneki smiled when he teached Naki how to write Yamori's name

So basically, SP pulled the Last Airbender: shows story, no character. Example: learn this part of story, nothing about the character.
