By any chance, is tumblr the "main place" to contact many anime/manga users?

I wouldn't know. I literally have know idea how to do anything except follow people XD I think I have like 3 followers, and I have no idea what to do

Ok, I know the blog that you have right now is your primary blog. That's the one you made when you first joined tumblr. Apparently, a second blog can be used by a variety of users, but you can't follow anybody on it. You also can't like posts, send ask messages, or submit to other blogs. It's also able to be password protected. You can still reblog things on there. You just have decide when you're reblogging, which account you want the reblogged subject to go on.

I know when you go on desktop, there's a video upload feature. Don't know if that's really useful for you though...

Yup, you go to your dashboard. There'll be 7 different choices you can choose from for posting. Video should be at the end. After clicking that, you can either upload one from your computer, or add one from the web by putting in the URL.

I barely post anything on tumblr XD But that one post with Kishi's interview brought me thirty new followers, and some of them are NH and SS fans It's not bad though.

It's easy to get followers. SHOW that you are a fan of this series. If you are a TG fan for instance, like and reblog anything TG related. Write comments and tags. Make a nice background (still need to a TG theme). I had my own tricks to get my followers Oh well, followers aren't that important anyways. I was just trying to follow those from here. But yeah, tumblr is really complicated in the beginning.

What do you guys think the future holds for Tokyo Ghoul?

I doubt it will emulate the success Attack on Titan had, but I am sure that it will gradually become more famous. I hope it will be seen often enough in the top ten overseas. And I HOPE that another studio will readapt Tokyo Ghoul (Ufotable or Madhouse pls).

I just know that I will support this series as good as I can. I will definitely buy the first volume once it hits the shelves here in the US.

I think the future is bright for it, due to the quality of the writing. I think once it gets a better adaptation, it would skyrocket in terms of popularity.

I hope more people become aware of it. Right now, the most promising anime in Japan seems to be Nanatsu no Taizai, which I understand. But Episode 10 of Root A with the Anteiku Raid really excited a lot of anime watchers only. If all of the manga material had been adapted, Root A would have been more successful...

Yeah if SP knew... I'm just glad that season 1 caused such an awareness of the series. From 1 million copies or so to 7 million is awesome. Looking forward to see how well TG:re volume 2 will perform ^^ Are you planning to buy volume 1 of TG once it comes out here?
