Saturdays, spoilers are released on tumblr. And depending on the translator's mood, the chapter will come out b/w Saturday and Tuesday. It's worse during Holidays.

I think that not only she is a kickass heroine, but her character is well-developed. After her days of stop fighting, she was still developing as a person like her dreams, conflicting feelings for Kaneki, and her love with her friends at the shop. Not to mention her backstory is depressing stuff because all she wants is to live the human way like her father would love her and her brother to do, but things just fall apart because she and her family are ghouls. So she was developing her character after Aogiri Arc. In my opinion, what sealed it for me was her confrontation against Kaneki. It's all in character, it's all real, and she stood herself against him. No submission, no weak heart and let the man run over her, no Sakura's kitten from chapter 181 or 693, nothing. It was perfect for her. She's just that good.
