Good episode, right? I thought it was well executed this time.

Pretty good, considering that it's SP. Irimi's fight was actually done well. See that, Kishi? That's a real woman, and she's not even the heroine. I thought though, the Yoshimura fight was done pretty badly. I like Irimi, I hope she didn't die (in the manga). I always had this head cannon of her being like an older sister to Bakaneki. Anyway, still waiting for a real animation studio to pick up TG.

Yes! Irimi's fight was done really well. I really like Irimi, too. The anime made me care for her more for some reason, lol. But I liked her back then in the manga already. Both her and the other guy (I always forget his name!) could have gotten more panel time though... I like the theme of them both wanting to repent for their sins.

Yoshimura... His flashback scenes were sad, but his fighting could have been better..

Anyways, looking forward to the last two episodes and what Touka's role will be...

Or Madhouse seeing how they animated HxH.

The animation is a sin, really. SP sucks so much but I expect good animation next time since its Kaneki vs Amon round 3

 

Otherwise good episode, still don't know what Touka went to do there...I mean I suppose she will meet with Kaneki somewhere, like HIde does? Idk

For the record, I love the rivalry between Kaneki and Amon. It has more soul to it because of their understandings. I really like how Amon said that he doesn't want to die because it will be considered as Kaneki's kill. That's development if I ever see one. This is what taught me. Two guys having conflicting investments. This was missing from the final battle of Naruto.

I've noticed that, too! It's actually one of the reasons why I wanna start One Punch Man. He must really like the manga and be glad that the manga will get an anime.

 

For the record, I love the rivalry between Kaneki and Amon. It has more soul to it because of their understandings. Amon is often described as the foil character of Kaneki. I can't really describe it, but I do agree with that description.

Amon's past is like pretty much every character a tragedy: Having been raised by a ghoul and having unknowingly eaten his friends'... His hate on ghouls is understandable. But when Kaneki spared his life back then, pretty much his entire view on ghouls was shattered. We see him doubting the CCG from time to time, which is why Eto and Dr. Kanou are so interested in him.
