Same here. I think it's for the better. There's only so much BS someone can take before going crazy. This kitten is so infuriating, to see 15 years worth of work get trashed for the sake of destructive and contradictory pairings.... I wouldn't touch it if I were you. If the preview is any indication, say goodbye to Sakura and Sasuke's characters!! 

 

And they pick April 3 to rub in our faces.

Something that the novels have that ss/nh don’t like? Noncanon.

No, it’s not. Canon is content written by the author. You’re conveniently forgetting that Kishi authorized RtN and filler episodes to be made. You cannot make the argument that something is canon because the maker authorized it without counting things like movies, OVAS, ending & opening songs, and all those ‘extra’ content to be canon as well, cause guess what? Those things would be canon too! If Kishi didn’t ‘authorize’ them, they wouldn’t exist in the first place. 

They wouldn’t EXIST if he didn’t want them to be canon. 

Neither would all those things I just listed. NS fans rejoice bc going by your logic, RtN is canon just as much as the Last because Kishi gave the green light for it to be made! 

Also, if what you’re saying is true, then why didn’t he just go ahead and make those novels himself? I mean, he is the creator of the Naruto universe. If I had to put my trust in the original content maker vs someone who is borrowing his content (and probably doesn’t know the content and characters nearly as well), I would trust the guy who, y’know, actually came up with everything? No one was saying that he couldn’t write extra material on his own, he just chose to let someone else do it. That doesn’t, however, make them official or canon. J.K. Rowling encourages her fans to write fanfiction about her characters. But would they be considered canon? No.

He could literally sue if someone released his content without his permission. This is something people fail to understand.

They are not ‘his content’ if he did not write them himself, you dolt. If you’re talking about his characters, then what do you have to say about the massive doujinshi circles, as well as conventions that feature NS, Uchihas, Kakashi, etc. that occur in Japan? They are using his characters - ‘his content’ as you like to put it -without his permission. Do you think he would give permission for R18 doujins to exist if he knows what they consist of? Surely he’s come across plenty, as even one NH fan acknowledges that SNS doujins are the most popular and sell the most. 

The point is, they are not his content, unless you count character x kittening character y from a r18 doujin to be Kishi’s content as well, since they are using his characters. He has no grounds to sue. It wasn’t like someone was stealing his work. The novels aren’t written by him, therefore, he has no rights or claims to them. If he tried to claim the novels he didn’t write as his, then he would be considered thethief. 

You can create a story. But if someone takes your story and makes a fanfiction off of that, you can’t claim that that fanfiction is ‘yours’. So it’s actually you who fails to understand.  

The fact he has read it and approved of everything means it is canon. 

And who made that a standard criteria of canon? You? Well, who the hell are you?Why should people take what a greyface says seriously? Many authors have read what their fans have written in fanfictions, and they like them enough to approve them as well! Guess that any work of fanfiction that an author has read and liked should be counted as canon too for that particular fandom!

We all knew this was coming but ugh all the same.

 

LMAO...699 chapters and all they can find is two panels worth of content to justify the pairing.

 

This makes it official that dispite having a team of editors and helpers and no doubt half the production team at SP, they couldn't even find enough content in the manga for both NH and SS to make the two pairing believable, and even fill up one volume of the manga. So for NH they made crap up and for SS they are trying to over emphasise two moments that lasted less than five seconds each.

 

It's bleeding hilarious, the ones trying to convince everyone else that these pairings were right are doing a better job than we ever could to prove how BS they are.

 

You ask them to do a NS recon and we'd have moments from chapter three soon as Sakura realises it was Naruto who complimented her on her forehead, to the first time her heart went Doki during his speech to Zabuza, to her recognition of his dream during Chunin exams....not even a hundred chapters in and we have more moments.

 

Edit: Oh and she opens up a children hospital, wonder if that was at all influenced by the teammate who grew up unloved, untrustful of adults?

Hahaha, interesting what they chose to advertise more. The Last is there just as a poster, they don't give an image out of it, that poster says nothing to people whereas the other images do... Heh.. I've never seen a bigger damage control than this, I swear!
 
As for the award, Kishi looks sad as kitten, as if he's regretting for receiving the award, I swear. Man, the guilt, remorse or any feelings of the likes can be seen on this man's face ever since the manga ended.
 
Also, have u seen he's UNCAPABLE of looking someone in the eyes when he's talking about the end? He always looks down or somewhere else, as if he's ashamed...
 
His body language speaks miles of what he really feels about this. He doesn't care about it but he is certain and aware deep down there after seeing the flop that he disappointed a lot of people, especially those who stuck until the end and felt betrayed.
 
I don't care about the award anyway cuz it's so insignificant for what really matters. He didn't get it for his writing skills or for what he knew to do "best". He got it because it was a major success internationally but that's not because he necessarily made it good but because look at what fandom we've got, lol.
 
As for the Sakura novel, pathetic! Absolutely pathetic! Props for the children hospital but where she stands as a person, it's pathetic.

I remember it all. Everything that Sasuke-kun told me.

“You… are annoying.”
At that time, I was shocked.
However, at that time, I was the one in the wrong. Standing in front of Sasuke-kun, more or less in high spirits, saying things that I should really have kept to myself… yeah, I certainly was annoying, eh.
To be honest, it was only to be expected.

“Just as I thought, you really are annoying.”
This is what Sasuke-kun told me when he left the village.
I was shocked at that time too. But then, Sasuke-kun continued, and told me:
“Sakura…”
