So, anyone have been on tumblr would noticed that there's a debate of difference between NH and IH. The irony difference they're saying is incredible. Want to see?

Yes please because that's tragic.

 

go to the anit-orihime tag and you'll see numerous post hating on her. go to the rukia tag and you'll only see two post. orihime has always gotten way more hate than rukia, and it goes just the same for the people who ship her with ichigo.

But also, it surprises me a little how people still think this story is leaning towards IchigoxRukia. They've barely talked to each other after he lost his shinigami powers the first time. Regardless, IR is still a respectable ship, and way more developed than NH. Same with IH. I wouldn't be upset if any of them became canon. At least Tite Kubo isn't using ships just for the sake of trolling his fans.

Holy kitten. There's no way that this is the same guy who made this ending. There's just no way. I mean come on... You can really tell that Naruto is supposed to be a reflection of himself and what he went through. Sigh...

 

It really is sad; part 1 had so much passion and energy and by the end you can tell Kishi is crushed by the success of his own manga.

That's true it could have been handled better but I think it was done this way to get them move on from Asuma's dead and then culminate it with bringing Asuma back to life during the war although considering his track record I don't think he though that far ahead but that's another point xD. My itch with this argument is that they keep repeating it over and over and over when like i said they are a bit different, Kakashi did get banged up because of Naruto but not only for him, Itachi was a wanted criminal at the time and he was in Konoha so they engaged in a fight with him, Sasuke saw his JONIN sensei who is also one of the strongest Konoha had to offer bedridden and he still decided that it was a good idea to go confront Itachi when he was still a baby gennin.

Well the story leans more towards Ichigo x Orhime,but ichigo is the type of guy that won't date friends because he doesn't want to screw up their friendship. Orhime really loves ichigo, she would do anything for him. Just like Sakura would do anything for Naruto.

In Bleach, I have no care for pairings but I care for development and Bleach did a good job but I believe it's more with IchiRuki but at the same time...it doesn't matter...Naruto only developed Sakura with Naruto in Shippuden so Hinata being with Naruto was definitely off

The top 3 all got a good amount of development. I think the only reason why the Bleach fandom has a lot of ship wars is because they're fusing their "otps" with Naruto ships. But if you sit back and analyze it, all three could win fairly at this point.   

 

Could you guys even imagine Bleach or One Piece with a Naruto ending? That would be wack crap.

That actually goes both ways for the IR/IH fandoms though, to be honest. I'm following a IR fan on tumblr and she constantly gets attacked because of her preferences. The IH fandom can be just as nasty.

This is coming from someone who doesn't mind either, btw.

... This is why I hate love triangles to death. To me, it always, always creates unnecessary verbal arguments (tumblr would be a better place w/out shipping wars). And it's not just mangas! Hunger Games, The Maze Runner, Harry Potter, ATLA & TLOK- the shipping wars were kittening annoying. I myself fell into the trap and got caught into the shipping wars. Sometimes, my ship won, sometimes it didn't. After the end of a work, I was always asking myself if a work would have been better if there had been no shipping war? Would I myself have focused more on the individual characters?

The only love triangles I am currently feeling comfortable with are the ones in the Breaker and in Magi. I genuinely do not care if my ship does not become cannon b/c the other ship is just as qualified as my ship to become cannon.

If you suck at writing love triangles, follow Oda's example, and leave them out -.- Otherwise, you'll split your fandoms for the wrong purpose.

Another fandom that's breaking apart from this is AoT. And dear god the ATLA/LoK fandom...I feel like they're just as bad as Naruto's to be honest. I've seen minimal fighting in Tokyo Ghoul, and none in Magi (which also has a love triangle).

Idk, the first encounter I ever had with the bleach fandom someone asked me what I shipped, i said that I wouldn't mind IR or IH, and the kid wrote me a sermon on how Rukia was a whore and how I should just light myself on fire for liking her and stuff like that. It runs both ways. That person I said I followed had gotten like 4 hate mails in an hour saying how stupid she was or something along those lines.

Ichigo has kids with Orihime while she becomes a housewife on Earth and he lives in Soul Society. He trains his son to become a shinigami while completely forgetting he has a daughter. Rukia gets married to Renji and also becomes a housewife. Their daughter becomes a stalker. Half of the Gotei 13 goes missing without any explanation. Aizen becomes a good guy and lives freely. All the other characters still living get married to each other, including Ichigo's dad. He marries Orihime's friend Tatsuki or something.

Doesn't he have a stronger bond with Rukia though? I don't remember there being any indication that Ichigo had romantic feelings towards anyone lol. I guess what happens in Bleach ship-wise depends on what happens in the end. 

It is really depressing. I just pray that this doesn't happen to other series. :(

 

Reading that quote from Kishi really made me sad. It reminded me of just how awesome, uplifting, exciting, and engaging Part 1 was. Of course, some of it may have been the fact that I didn't read it as a shipping fan. I kinda liked NH because Part I Sakura (pre-exam at least) wasn't my favorite, but I wasn't overly concerned. It was just a fun engaging story. Then the freaking wheels fell off.

Agree. The whole love triangle thing is well overblown at this point, and honestly, kinda tiring. The breaker is fine because, as you said, both ships are just as qualified and even more so, I don't dislike any of the members within the triangle. Not only that, but one doesn't openly abuse the other *cough*SS*cough*chidori to the chest*cough*

He does have a stronger bond with Rukia. But they've had little to no interaction since Aizen's defeat. She's been around Renji a lot lately. I don't think Ichigo likes anyone either. I hope it's an open-ending for romance.

I'll say one more thing and then drop it and stop going OT. I think you are right about it not being developed. There have been a few small moments, but nothing significant. Moreover, unlike Naruto, there was never another possible pairing for Aang that gets any development. So for me, even if there were some hints towards Zuko, I've not seen anything that would make me think Aang would pair with anyone else. With Naruto, even if you didn't buy it, there were enough small moments that the specter of NH always loomed over our heads.
