I was looking up at the US Box office for the latest week.... It looks like "The Last" is finally off the list.

In the end it couldn't even make $500,000 in the USA. LOL


Also, I heard that SP are struggling to sell their special NaruHina figures, that they started exporting the figures to other regions of the world e.g. the UK.....but they still aren't selling.

I'd love to know how much money they've lost on their NaruHina fetish these past months. :)

 

Aye, the story about the struggle of selling hinata figures and merchandising is quite true ( anyone here remember the failure that was the hinata clock ?)

So much that if we look at Naruto's main merchandising now we will see a lot of team 7/ Naruto + Sasuke, on their part 2 attire no less, guess they are trying to regain money somehow, just hope japanese fans don't fall for this new tactic

Staff 1: Haha! We show those bastards at MadHouse! We managed to get Tokyo Ghoul from those bastards!

Staff 3: No...They killed it as in they made it too good. It's already a great series but the anime just made it look like the greatest thing since slice bread.
Staff 2: So what does Tokyo Ghoul has to do with anything?
Staff 3: For starters, we were humiliated by MadHouse in adaptation. Turns out that they can do a great job. I heard they are getting Parasyte. Rumor has it that they will get OnePunch-Man as well. Second, we wanted the next popular series and hopefully, we can pull Naruto on it. Because Kishimoto-sensei never have anything planned out and it's basically a fan made on its own.
Staff 2: No way! No wonder fillers are easier to input. So, having Tokyo Ghoul can make us look good over MadHouse. We can finally showcase the awesomeness of our budget! Right?!

It's so disgusting. To them all a female character needs to get popular is boobs and looks... ugh!! :sick: I can't stand this bullsh**!! :cry:

 

and what beauty? Hinata is considered cute in the manga. Sakura is the one who's considered beautiful.  :twitch:

 

Wow, the same panel with her crying too... :wot: Yet some people still wanna defend what happened to her, lol. 

Where the kitten is all this hate coming from? I seriously doubt Sakura is hated THIS MUCH in Japan. In the West, sure... but over there? Seriously? What a joke. You'd think she's some sort of villain damn.

 

Whenever Hinata came up in the polls she was always in the bottom top 12. Yet Kishi made it sound like she's Kakashi/Sasuke level. Give me a break, he's not even trying to make it sound convincing :lmao: I don't buy the whole "I replaced Sakura" BS. He'd literally have to re-write the story and change everything to give her a position that would allow her to be the heroine of the series. Hell Sakura isn't even as unpopular as he claims. Doesn't she still come up in the popularity polls? Honestly just sounds like a huge excuse to me. 

 

 

You remeber the hate mail and death threats Kishi and Shueisha were recieving from fans (pretty much NH) that Sakura was a kitten because Hinata sacrificed herself to protect Naruto and they wanted a heroine switch to be made? And those death threats (if this is true) mails?

I couldn't find info for other countries such as Malaysia etc.

 

Holly crap. From what I heard, USA and Australia grossed the most so far. China just started the screeningnot to long. But seriesly, SP is going to go bankrupt because my friend from New York (I do not know how he got the information from) told me that SP minimum goal is to gross 4 million :th_yeah:

This just proves that people only see the Sakura from chapter 3. Even though she kept "refusing" Naruto's dates and all, in serious situations, she worried and cared for him. He wasn't just an annoying guy for her ....Yes, she was only a Tsundere. 

But people are just toooooo dumb to even understand that. I-and surely a lot of people- didn't even know what was a Tsundere back then, but I could see that Sakura was actually not that bad. She was confused about her feelings...etc 

And as you said, she was actually popular in Japan, generally Tsundere chara arewell liked there. 

 

I can't understand why people voted for a character who appeared in only 15 chapters in the whole manga.

 

And the "I replaced Sakura" was just a lame excuse. He was trying to explain why she wasn't developed enough...and that's the only excuse he could come up with. 

Plus she was third in the last poll, another proof that people voted for her after she punched Kaguya and helped Obito finding Sasuke.
