I was asking myself that, earlier :"What if they made NH canon just to 'break' that destiny thing Neji was talking about ? (y'know Naruto was 'supposed' to get the girl, just like jiraya was supposed to ...etc ) 

 

But then I was like : "Whaaat am I saying  ! as if kishi was clever enough to do something like this....they only chose her because she has big boobs  ."

 

What do your opinion bout this, guys?  Have you ever asked yourselves something like this ?

 

No, I haven't. I think he just failed to realize how important Naruto and Sakura's relationship was, considering that all Naruto did was fail just like Jiraiya did.

Well the destiny plot point was already forgotten and destroyed, so this idea kind of makes no sense

 

In part 1, we had it's introduction with Neji, a fatalist guy who deeply believed everyone had a destiny and that they were bound to it, then comes Naruto and he punches this idea out of Neji's head, saying that the only one who controls his fate is himself and that this destiny excuse is BS, this cleanses Neji of his fatalist views and he becames a better person

 

Then comes part 2 and what we get? The great toad sage whose prediction is always right saying Naruto was destined to be some kind of prophecy child, that he was destined to fight a guy with powerful eyes, and etc etc. To add insult to the injury we also get the revelation that Naruto was somehow the reincarnation of a powerful demi god from back then,so really, everything in his story was scripted.All these revelations make part 1 Naruto ideas look like a bad joke.

We also got the fact that Neji, bound by his destiny, ended up sacrificing himself to save a person from the main branch, just for the fact that kishimoto wanted something to bring Naruto and Hinata closer.

 

Then comes the Last in which is revealed poor Hinata is naturally, someone who is destined to wield mystical powers from Hamura, that she is somehow the byakugan princess, that kid who was deemed useless by everyone in the clan at the beginning didn't fought hard to overcome the odds and earn respect, no. She just had this destined power handed to her because she was somehow important

 

All the while we had characters who defied their natural problems like Rock Lee, forgotten.

 

 

So yeah, no worries about what you are thinking. The destiny plot point was completely and utterly destroyed by kishimoto and his editors

Not about your situation, but I'm person that needs to know reasons, ho it hunted me down for a long time, "why?", "what purpose?" "for what?" but then I saw their attitude, and it all made sense, they just didn't give a kitten about story, that's why. I could make better excuses of why I would punch totally unknown person for no reason then what they deed to series

To be fair, Sakura wouldn't have the same look as an adult as she did as a teenager. You do tend to get a more mature look about you, and some of the wide eyed innocence is gone. I think she looks fine as a woman personally, physical wise at least.

You know since we're on the topic of Sakura, here is interesting question I came up with.  What did guys first think of Sakura initially and at what point did you guys start liking her character?  I know 699 (or 693)- forward doesn't do her character justice, so let's just discuss the positive she had as opposed to the negatives. 

 

 

I'll be honest in the beginning of the series I did find her annoying because she she was a fangirl of Sasuke, but once the chunin exams hit I saw something different her. When the written exams came in I was like okay there's a small shift happening this is great, and once the Forest of death came in my viewpoint on her actually changed. She wasn't just there for oh Sasuke, she was starting to develop as a character slowly and she started opening up to Naruto who she initially found annoying and I loved that about her. I'm actually quite okay with her confession to Sasuke in Part 1 as she was just a 12 year old girl and more importantly because I knew that was going to be the stepping point for her character. Once Part 2 roles around my first thought to her was wow this girl's changed she's a bit hot tempered with monster strength and I found it hilarious in a good way. You can tell she was starting to open up more to Naruto as it kept progressing and she became probably my favorite female character in the series.  That's the Sakura i'm probably going to always remember, you know maybe in some other timeline/universe Sakura did fully develop as a character and moved on from what she was in the beginning and has a happy family with Naruto and Shinachiku.

I know, it's just sad that Sakura gets hosed like this, Tricks. :( Especially considering that she isn't how she was anymore, just like so much of the cast are it seems. I mean, I've said this to my friend Gil so often that it feels like NOBODY but Hinata is happy. It's also seeming to me like everyone is just having to settle, which is something Gil also said that Narut oin the end shows no one is in control of their own destiny, things will never change, and all you will do is repeat the same mistakes past generations have had. T_T As I said, the ending and all this stuff after it has made me lose my gusto for working on my fanfic, Naruto: The Demon Within. It just has made me not care anymore. *sigh*

And here's the thing, it's not like we shipped the wrong pairing or something like that. Kishimoto sold out. The story was dismantled, and the fans were robbed. The only way we have to fight back is through fanfics and fanarts. Finishing them because an act of resistance!

 

So don't lose hope! Finish what you've started! You have lots of friends who support you!!

It's the only Naruto merchandise that provides income for the franchise outside of Japan.

Had another look at the "Sakura" Hiden cover (quotation marks because she ain't the Sakura I know), and damn does she look depressed. Almost apologetic, like "I'm really sorry for the crap that's within these pages. Please, save yourself the trouble and spend your money elsewhere. I've heard Fullmetal Alchemist is good, why not give that a shot instead?"

Is it okay if I...don't get disappointed? There's nothing I saw in SS apart from, 'Annoying'. That pretty much....sums up the relationship She said it herself!

At first, I disliked her. She was selfish, annoying, and really immature, but we can't blame her, she didn't live what Sasuke and Naruto lived, she couldn't understand, and ...she was only 12y.o. ... but I still disliked her (especially when she couldn't do anything during missions) . 

Then, little by little, she showed more concern towards Naruto, but her love for Sasuke was really annoying. After Naruto failed to bring Sasuke back, I started to like her: she wanted to make more efforts in order to help him bring Sasuke back, she started to train seriously with Tsunade. (even though I started to ship NS before, because I wanted her to love Naruto who wasn't a scumbag back then) 

She started to mature more and more, and became more compassionate, stronger...she became a role model for me, and my favorite character. And the Shippuden part made me love her even more ! 

 

Aaahh don't talk about parallel universes, it's gonna make me cry...     kitten.
