I hate the new image of Sakura on the cover of the book. I think it looks like the girl from the Mario manga, not a more glamorized version of Sakura. I don't think they spent any time on a new design, just fell back on the patented "beautiful adult woman" design for Sakura. Doesn't even look like her. She's curvy and a little sultry. She's edgy, not the strong innocent character she was.

 

Hinata gets the worshipful mother look. Sakura gets minimalized even further by being a beauty.

No because the japanese fanbase as wised up and won't fall for the false advertisement again. They may show him show his face but his screen time is a total of five minutes like in the Last. I wouldn't watch it just for that. And they believe that like us the Naruto character and everything else has been destroyed in a sense. The next movie will do far worse than the Last did.

Probably. Sasuke is one of them so far, so I'm willing to bet using old villains will draw people attention. Somewhat like Frieza coming back.

I find Sakura very pretty in the cover but I feel the same in not liking it because it doesn't feel like Sakura, waiting for a guy she hasn't been around for long after he left the village twice, she doesn't feel like the Sakura we were seeing grow in shippuden where she cares for everyone instead she just cares for Sasuke and her loneliness. The Hinata thing has gone to far that it ruined development between two characters and messed up their goals just so this one irrelevant character could be become important out of nowhere and get what she wants, its because of this everything became a shoujo and out of place, the pairings are digusting me more and more since they are going crazy with it (not just NH and SS, every single pairing is grossing me out)

I expect BS every time but every time it is more than u can imagine to expect/be ready.

Well, now I regret coming into Naruto, basically whole story was for nothing, fanatics of NH and SS can scream all they want, but this is what it is. Nothing is resolved and nothing is finished. Those few things that this manga had back there and showed/taught people and me personaly - now nothing more then a memory. 

Many people here voiced their opinions from a POV of reader and from a POV of writer. Here's some from a different angle:

- If before - qulaity was something that people was ready to pay for, now kitten like Naruto is promoted. I'm not talking about whole manga, but about ending, End of story stands for nothing and only there for continuation like part 3. Those who were in head of swithcing path that Kishimoto walked (from Yahagi's NS-logic) to NH road, made a lame choise, they choose numbers of people basing there descision on "pairing" aspect of "shonen", too bad that Yahagi (or Kishimoto by Yahagi's hand) implanted feelings of Naruto for Sakura in the very core of his character. Last totally destory this for a logical and reasonable people, like whole character of Naruto and many other in next issues (novelas and etc).

- Did you saw any series or movie, that on a half of it changes actors, places and plot all of a sudden? No? Because that will be a failure, people love stories that tells them all from start till the end. With such an ending - only casuals or fans of those pairings are happy.

 

Basically all this destroys any determination for authors who write for people, because good stories doesn't come up with all that what fans love about them from the very beggining, it takes time for a jorney to become intresting (like Naruto did in first half). When any author that writes fanservise story made for otakus (and by otakus) gets alot of cash, and those who only want to show intresting story that they created - get nothing or alot less for their hardwork, this all become really horrible and whole industry suffers from lack on new ideas and goes with remakes of old ones (hello tons of new manga's with underdog MC in manga's/animes and remekes of not really old movies in hollywood). Now people choose easy way for a money purpose, not hard work to make their name and story remembered by followers. To make good story it only takes two things determination to risk and an opportunity to do so. Kishimoto got one, but totally f**cked it up. Too bad it was him.

I really hope so too but you can bet that the NH and SS fans will be tuning in no question about it. This series is just a joke now with the the real fans just laughing how the series as become and how we all want our story back to what it was.

I know, it's just sad that Sakura gets hosed like this, Tricks. :( Especially considering that she isn't how she was anymore, just like so much of the cast are it seems. I mean, I've said this to my friend Gil so often that it feels like NOBODY but Hinata is happy. It's also seeming to me like everyone is just having to settle, which is something Gil also said that Narut oin the end shows no one is in control of their own destiny, things will never change, and all you will do is repeat the same mistakes past generations have had. T_T As I said, the ending and all this stuff after it has made me lose my gusto for working on my fanfic, Naruto: The Demon Within. It just has made me not care anymore. *sigh*

I totally agree. The story has become a joke now and the freaking money and the crazy NH and SS fans and SP are to blame for this tragic loss of a story. Nothing is not resolved like you said and people want something different than the crap that we were given here. Unfortunately unless a miracle happens or KIshi comes to his senses the story will always be a disappointment for what it could have been. Screw politics!!!

More marginalizing of Sakura. They took away what made her visually unique and appealing and replaced it with a far more generic type of beauty, I think I don't like it at all.

I was asking myself that, earlier :"What if they made NH canon just to 'break' that destiny thing Neji was talking about ? (y'know Naruto was 'supposed' to get the girl, just like jiraya was supposed to ...etc ) 

 

But then I was like : "Whaaat am I saying  ! as if kishi was clever enough to do something like this....they only chose her because she has big boobs  ."

 

What do your opinion bout this, guys?  Have you ever asked yourselves something like this ?
