Why would Kakashi tell Shikamaru of all people to assassinate the leader of some nation

Since when would Shikamaru ever do that and how is Naruto okay with this?

Since when would Shikamaru ever do that and how is Naruto okay with this?  

First - Sai is ok to do it, he is special ANBU shinobi, he is juts a james bond in terms of even anbu, and he failed with his whole squad. So Kakashi let do the mision not the strongest or most skilled of his people, but one, who has high intelligence, but really mediocre fighting skills.

Second - Looks like second shinobi-like misson in 15 yeats will take place after manga itself, lol

Third - Assassination of people really solves all kinds of problems, especially if it's a contry leader. Not that Naruto like already had obtain peace... oh wait, that different AU, where he kicked Sasuke's butt, confessed to Sakura and became Hokage... Waaaaait a minute, Naru... who? Here is Kakashi, he is a legend of war!

Yeah, the whole thing is a mess. Naruto's probably out doing caged bird seal training to perform as the next head of the main branch Hyuuga clan. None of the characters have been left untouched — they're all in an OOC freefall.

See Sai would have made all the sense in the world for such a mission since like you said he's Anbu, but so much for doing things diplomatically

Kakashi is now the weakest AND dumbest hokage, this is really like a AU...

So none of the themes that was consistently brought was never actually achieved in the end

I don't see why anyone is surprised by the Kishi brushing aside Sakura and replacing her with Kakashi, Just look at the history the Manga created, Kaguya was the cause of all the issues yet history has forgotten her, instead everything points at her son. Mito Uzumaki was the one who sealed the Kyuubi inside herself and yet history only mentions her husbands actions, Kushina was the one who held down Kurama while Minato summoned the Death God, yet History made no mention of her actions.

 

Sakura had one of the best development in the manga, The only reason her charactor was hated was because Kishi went out of his way to destroy her charactor and then question why it was happenning. Every hurdle she overcame she had to be knocked down again, to a point that at the end we are told it never mattered anyway, because a girl does not grow up, she will see a guy she likes and she'll get stuck in history from that point forward, all her progress will regress whenever that person comes in the frame, 15 years the manga ran and the females in the manga were still the same girls they were when the manga began, Sakura and Hinata were two rapid fangirls that stalked their prey until they were worn them down and gave up trying to escape. They never cared for the other person never even knew them, or vice versa, they were attracted from a distance and called it love.

 

This is something I stilll even after months laugh at because while we understand the faults of this type of relationship, SS and NH fans don't even realise this, they genuinely believe that their pairings was an actual love story, yet every love story I've ever read included actual physical contact, interaction and understanding. something neither of them had. even in the epilogue we see how little interaction the pairing have, Naruto works all the time and Sasuke is still on his road to discovery, they might as well be single parents from the way they were discribed in the manga....how can any fan who cared for the charactors in the manga be happy with this.

 

OK I just went in a different direction didn't I? I guess even months after not posting about the manga I'm still not over the end. It pisses me off how low peoples expectations have become when media is blatently trying to bleed you by screwing with creativety. People have become so brainwashed that they fully accept the crap that Kishi, SP and SWJ have been pulling on us this past few months.

My prediction for Part 3 all of the previous characters will become completely sidelined and The new generation. Kishi will show why his original characters are now gonna be useless compared to the new generation.

My prediction is the opposite, the Old Gen will be in the background but after it becomes quickly apparent nobody cares for the new gen, the older gen will started to get more of the focus, but it will be too late, and while it will be relatively successful, it will pale in comparison to even Naruto at it's lowest point. New Gen hardly ever works, if DBz couldn't pull it off, something like Naruto with such uninteresting charactors is going to have trouble....SJ, SP and Kishi are assuming just because the original source was a success the new work associated with the old manga will instantly sell.

The only interesting charactor in the new gen is Sarada, and that's because her being a Uchiha can create tension, and her father issues can be more interesting to write than a over worked father.But she doesn't come close to the original cast, and any conflict created would seem superficial and contradict the end of the manga.

 

I do have something resembling a soft spot for Kurenai's daughter. In theory, her character has quite a bit of potential, not only as an heiress to the Sarutobi clan, but through the amalgamated potential of a chakram melee user with Futon element usage and a predilection for genjutsu thanks to her mother. Moreover, she's the only half-way likable and realistically conceived member of the spawn generation, in my opinion. The likelihood of this potential being realised is very low, however, considering Kishi's laughable incompetence with female characters.
