All naruto tnj victim must has something similiar with naruto.
Neji : I have a tatto in my forehead (naruto has it in his belly).
Garra : my iruka is dead and I'm a monster.
Nagato : my parent and friend is dead, and I'm an uzumaki.
Obito : my girl dead and I'm your uchiha version complete with hokage dream.

Could easily done that with Madara with Hokage. I don't know. The point is this whole setup is screwed up. I feel like Obito was our hint of going Shoujo or at least going love love machine.

It seems to me that the decisions that were made -- to pair SS and NH against the grain of the rest of the story -- left them with little choice.  In order to make NH happen, everything else had to be subject to corruption.

 

It's really not possible to give Sakura a happy ending.  In order to reposition Hinata as the most important person in Naruto's life and his love interest, Sakura has to be removed as Naruto's closest confidante and go-to person for his feelings and interest.

 

Likewise, Sakura can't be super confident and capable or succeed at a lot because she will outshine Hinata who is useless -- and remains so even in the movie that focuses solely on her.  Hinata is weak, pitiful, and incompetent.  Sakura cannot be better in any way or Hinata's image will suffer.

 

And then there's the fact that in order to give Naruto to Hinata, it meant that Sakura -- despite her growth and maturity and tangible closeness with Naruto in the story -- was stuck with Sasuke.  There was no love between Sakura and Sasuke in the original story, and no development of Sasuke as a person with really any feelings at all.  Sasuke and Gaara sort of switched places, and Sasuke ended up the character with love only for himself.

 

The truth is, all the characters are ruined.  It's not just Sakura.  Naruto is completely destroyed as well. And Sasuke?  He's clearly not important to the story anymore either, with the possible exception of assisting Naruto in some kind of fight.  He's got nothing to add to the domestic subplots, so fights and warrior activity are all he's good for -- and that's only if such a situation is contrived.  How is that going to happen a lot in an era of peace?

 

See, it wasn't a simple decision to go with NH and reward Hinata.  To make it happen in both the short and long term requires the deconstruction of everything that went before -- precisely because Hinata was never meant to be Naruto's mate or the most important character of the franchise.

 

Yeah, it does all go back to that: NH is the number one goal. The rest of the cookie crumbles around that.

 

And I like your last statement that justifying NH requires the deconstruction of everything else. So true. It's proof right there that NH was never meant to be.

 

I think I need to stay away from the books. They're only going to make me really unhappy.

That's what I was thinking. The more I think about it, the more I think that SP and SJ pushed him in this direction. Like everyone's been saying. Its like he's purposely being slopy, saying stupid things and sabotaging his own story in order to kill it off as soon as possible.

Something like that. He's just been doing so much that doesn't make any sense. Personally I think he's up to something.

You know Kaguya's Rinegan on the last page of 700 that Chatte pointed out? Personally, I think Kishi might have a purpose for it. It think it's there to give him an out. Once everything dies down, the contract with SP is over, he can go back back to it years later and use it to make changes. Undo mistakes. I'm not even just talking about pairings, I'm talking the story in general.

Yeah, I think Kishimoto knew he's been rudderless for long time. And in the end he just gave up.

 

Because of the lackluster way it ended, i don't think Kishimoto will ever go back and fix it. I think he just wanted to walk away.

Yes, it could be like that.
But personally for madara, I always see him as final villain material that so powerful that need to gang up by the entire cast of the story.

No one started acting OOC until the last two chapters. Also, why keep hinting at and developing NS until almost the very end with no focus on NH?

This is completely Off-topic, but 90%  of the comments also are. The only difference is that they are more related to japanese things, lol. If the admins are going to be strict about it, then do it with everything else that doesn't have the name of Naruto.

It's a shame, too, because the novels would have been a great idea before the crapocalypse happened.  But if the Shikamaru novel is any indication, they will be full of aneurysm-inducing stuff.
