Yeah. I remember a while back, 1 or 2 years ago, someone in the Bleach fandom was threatening suicide. Not because of a ship being canon, but the actual fandom itself. There was a lot of bullying going on, much like NH v. NS. Honestly the Ichihime v. Ichiruki fighting is just as bad, if not worse.

That is true...

Although the infamous SasuKarin fan who was talking about suicide, I can kind of understand why she felt that way. I mean, she was being harassed by many horrible NH/SS fans and on top of it all, she had a ton of crap in her life going on. Apparently SasuKarin was one of the few things that made her happy.
If that gets taken away, especially if you're feeling so confident about the ship, it comes as a shock and well...only added onto her depression, I'm sure.

 

You gotta remember, those who are considering suicide, even if it appears over a series, shouldn't be taken lightly. The series wouldn't even be the root of the problem. It would likely be the butterfly that makes things collapse.

Yes its made by a NH fan and here is the description of her video  the hypocrisy is just to god damn much I swear .

I wonder if "The Last" has been released in any foreign cinemas yet. According to some people on Tumblr, it did very well in Australia and there's a petition to try and get it back on screen for a second airing. Don't ask for a source on this, however.

Wow, Naruto's sales compared to the likes of OP and AOT are so low. Not even a million sold in the first week of release and while the sales of AOT and OP raised, Naruto's dropped... now it's barely no. 6 in the overall line line: http://matome.naver....741705747669201

Being outpaced by only two of the most popular name-brand manga series in Japan currently isn't much to brag about. One Piece has always trailed ahead of Naruto in terms of popularity. Toriyama could release the starting volume of a new arc in the Dragonball series and it would probably earn more than Naruto because of the simple reason that it's DBZ "resurgent".

It shouldn't  even be in the 6 place but its Good  the statistics of the overall decreasing only shows how much of a kitten it is . I believe that Naruto  only sales this much now only bc its was once popular  basically the name is doing the sales  not the quality and its content  , if it wasn't for this I believe Naruto wouldn't even be among the first 10 Lol .

Actually it is since you know, yeah, OP was always no. 1 but remember where Naruto used to be once? Yup, up there in the top 3 and now it's barely on the 6th? Come on Atheck. If people really wanna brag how "good" Naruto is sold in Japan because apparently it's still going on there so well, why is it that on its own motherland, it's dropping like this? 

Many of those fans that buy OP and AOT and all the others could very well be ex-Naruto fans who are just done with Kishi's kitten. You know how many things one has to take into account when observing these tendencies? Oh, so so many.

 

The reason Toriyama and Kubo can do that is because they didn't screw-up like this with their fans, that's the difference. The overall context and implications of the story and the fandom in these two instances are quite different than Naruto's case.

The Naruto franchise has been on a gradual sales decline since the Pain arc iirc. You're right about the narrative degeneracy, inconsistent characterisations, and sheer dissatisfaction over how Kishi treated his beloved child of a story in the end motivating people to turn their backs on Naruto. Still, I don't believe that the reasons for people's discontent is completely in-alignment with our own. Most people have a reason to dislike the manga and Kishi now excluding maybe the Nh fans and proponents who were trying to shoehorn Hinata in as a replacement heroine instead of helping to better develop the one that's been an integral figurehead and member of the cast since chapter #3.

Some of them are only upset because of false promotional content depicting Kakashi and Sasuke in a more prominent light than actually were in the film. Others resented the lack of prper execution of SS's final moulding to canonicity. I dare say these people happen to comprise a sizable amount of those upset at Pierrot and Kishi. That same discontent could very well be reflected in the sales figures for the manga. Had Pierrot actually made good on the implications of their emphasis for these characters, coupled with a romantic aspect dedicated entirely to SS that can stand alongside the nH contents, "The Last" might be seeing a rating close to RtN's (though I suspect not as high because there would still be the percentage of fans who feel too alienated to continue supporting Naruto).

I'd hazard to guess that the plurality or majority were at least tolerant of the final results. Kishi's pockets are naturally suffering because he agitated a number of people with his choice for an ending, as we all knew it would no matter which direction he chose to take it. But the series hasn't declined by such a degree that it's being removed from shelves or discontinued by the studio due to lack of financial success and low viewership. It's still managing to remain afloat at a comfortable position in spite of the adversity endured.

I don't accept the news here in my country. The cinema's website was down when I was searching it
