Ichigo and Rukia have little to no interaction in long time.

Yeah If I remember correctly, the last time they interacted was when Rukia gave Ichigo his powers again and I got to say that little moment was amazing even though it was a long time ago.

On a side note: I think it's best that any conversation about Bleach should take place in the thread that was created for the series.

However as far as I know Kubo doesnt string his fans with endlessly strings of pairing teases and plus his female characters aren't what you call pairing fodders, as that was the ultimate fate of Sakura and Hinata

Definetly, he's not trying to do it endlessly.

This is only the first week. Anything could happen. Granted, I don't find it likely that the last volume would acquire another 1.7 million sales. It might reach 1.5-1.8 million sales with the international releases, but that's probably going to be the extent of its success.

That seems pretty low for the finale of such a major title. Especially when compared to what it was making a few years ago. Honestly, I think the fandom has been slowly shrinking since Pain's defeat. He would have made such an excellent end villain.

Tha fandom has been in downfall since the beginning of war arc,  since that arc it was never able to give me the feeling of hype I had during earlier arcs

Sakura wasnt until Kage Summit arc, after that she only appeared for teases with Naruto or Sasuke and she had that little moment in the war to appease some of her fans

Sometimes I think that it's only NS fandom saw Hinata more then pairing fodder, as NH always tells she "deserved" Naruto and nothing above that of her character. Kishimoto said exactly same things.

Women in Naruto had a sense of purpose, but as time goes by, they begin to be forgotten and then, Kage Summit Arc happened.

I'm back. What a show. So I see nothing but Bleach talk. What gives?

Honestly, this arc has been good so far. Problems here and there but I don't find myself sighing or something. It seems like they may do a good finale. But I should keep my expectations low of course. It's a nice rebound for Bleach that sadly not a lot of people would know. You know, going back to that popularity days. But ah well, lots of series don't need that. Just tell a story.

Bleach has flaws of both, Fairy Tail and Naruto combined, but he somehow comes up with best way to showing them as least as possible.

Which pairing has the biggest fandom?

I also think that many of those kitten IR fans might also double as kitten NH/SS fans.

The reason I got so deeply involved with pairing debate in the first place was because a few years ago I posted my opinions on the debate thread on Narutofan. It was pretty straight forward. I posted what I believed the evidence was and how I believed it added up to an NS outcome(it still does). Didn't insult anyone and wasn't trying to start a fight. I thought that, so long that I was civil, the others would be respectful as well. And then I was gained up on by a bunch of kitten. Name calling, sarcasm, little if any substantive counter arguments. Honestly, while most NH/SS fans aren't hostile, the majority of the hate comes from their side.

Hinata was always about that.

Sakura wasnt until Kage Summit arc, after that she only appeared for teases with Naruto or Sasuke and she had that little moment in the war to appease some of her fans

Now when it comes to Hinata (I hate definding her), but in Part 1 like I've always said, she had my outmost respect because I knew that there was something more behind this girl. She's got goals for the future of the Hyuga clan, and I wanna see where she goes. Then what happens.... we cut to Part 2 and I'm just like "KISHI WTF!!!" You have all the other Konoha Nakama have these timeskip development, I mean Sakura (who I was starting to have respect for after the chunin exams) all of a sudden become one of my favorite characters in the series, but Hinata reduce down to pairing fodder. Mind you this was beginning Part 2 when she first showed up and let me tell you when she fainted for the first time I just facepalmed like wow, and granted she did have her moment during the Pain arc but what happened after that the same thing occurred as when she first showed up again.

Yet when the War arc came people kept telling me You see that development Hinata has gotten in the war, and my argument is "You see how that development once again got stripped away from her."

Honestly it is so sad to see a writer like Kishi treat a character like this it is disgusting. The ending of the series is even enough to show that Kishi just doesn't care anymore.

That is particularly why now when I read One Piece, which I unknowingly dropped after Albasta since 4kids didn't dubb the arcs after that (Yes you can judge me for that but I was like 9 or 10 at the time), granted I did catch up but took a break due me being caught up with high school life. Point is I'm seeing how Oda's telling his story and it is amazing to see what how much passion has for a series that's been running for 17+ years that's impressive, and He's already got the ending of the series all mapped out in his head. That's beyond impressive actually Insanity at it's finest (but in a good way if you know what I mean).

Another series is Fairy Tail which I thought had no chance of being a great series again after the Grand Magic Games (The worst arc that made people say kitten it we out) all of a sudden The Tartarus Arc (Possibly the best arc in the series so far) came in and proved me wrong. I mean after the ending of the arc I got to see how much passion Hiro has for the series and he's even doing the spin offs, Fairy Tail Zero, Ice Trail, and Blue Mistrail at the same time as the main series (Yes the spin offs are monthly releases, but you get my point).

Finally comes Bleach, people were saying FullBringer Arc was a piece of kitten, and I can see there point. However it didn't really kill of the characters developments or their personality plus considering that Kubo said The series will end with The Thousand Year Blood War Arc I was curious. Not only that but you've got a series like Bleach, which was already falling in rankings, but do some of the most craziest kitten that occured in the beginning of the war just made me speechless.  I mean when you look at Naruto's war arc in the beginning I kept telling myself when will this damn arc start blowing my mind like how Part 1 and Early Part 2 was. I mean Bleach at the start like I said before has been blowing my mind with it's war arc since the beginning and continues to do so. The chapter that came out (614)  last week  you can't tell me that Naruto's War had the same level as intensity (aside from a maybe 3 things taking place but that's it).

The point I'm making here is Oda, Hiro Mashima, Kubo, and Isayama (AoT mangaka) at the end of the day know what they're doing with their story and where it's going to go along with the characters. That's something Kishi will never be able to do.

Now FT zero much more intresting than original.

And what exactly was wrong with Fullbringers arc?  :headscratch:

I always was intresting why people hate it?

I'd personally go with IchiRuki. I like the dynamic they share. But, I'd be ok with IH, there's a decent amount of development between them. I just feel that Ichigo has a certain attachment to Rukia, though we haven't seen it in a while. Kind of get the feeling that Kubo decisions might be affected by fan opinions as well. Which pairing has the biggest fandom?

I also think that many of those a**hole IR fans might also double as a**hole NH/SS fans.

I'm actually siding with IchiRuki too even though i'm okay with either or happening. Like you said there is a certain attachment that Ichigo has with Rukia. Plus I know some people are gonna call me out on this, but Rukia was probably the sole person that made Ichigo what he is today, even when Ichigo had FullBring something just didn't feel the same and then Ginjo took his powers away, and Rukia regiving Ichigo powers again helped pick himself back up. I do agree with you about Kubo possibly picking the fandom on pairings unless he's secretly has one planned but not telling anyone. One thing I gotta say about Kubo is that when he does throw in a romantic moment it's very subtle and not over the place like Naruto. It just feels very natural when you read the series.

So why are we talking about Bleach?

Because of REVOLUTION!!!
